UPF Barcelona School of was founded in 2011 as the new business school of Spain s highest ranked public university, Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). 5 {03} MASTER OF SCIENCE IN IT STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT The Master of Science in IT Strategic at UPF Barcelona School of is a 15-month, full time program taught entirely in English. It provides multidisciplinary skills to students wishing to learn how to align technology and business strategies. The program includes a curricular internship and it offers excellent opportunities for students to make contacts within the business world via company visits and trade fairs such as the Smart City Expo and the GSMA Mobile World Congress. Only 41% of respondents completely or to a great extent have access to the information they need to do their job successfully. Almost one-fifth report either limited or no access to the relevant analytics and information. MIT Sloan Review June 2013 The good thing about the MSc in IT Strategic is that lecturers proved to have hands-on industry experience. Some of them even owned ITrelated companies. Also, I found it to be the only master s program which covered all my interests: an IT-specific approach to management, an international student body and a strong network of contacts provided by the professors. 8 {03} DUAL DEGREES Master of Science in IT Strategic students have the possibility of studying for an additional year at EBS Business School (Germany). At the end of the course students will be awarded two master s degrees one from each institution. Get 2 master s degrees in just 2 academic years (instead of 3) by only writing 1 master s thesis! To be considered for admission you need to submit a series of documents that the Admissions Committee will need to evaluate if your profile fits the program.
