Apply now and attach copies relevant certificates where required, and a passport size photograph. I. EXECUTIVE EDUCATION or EXECUTIVE CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES Not examinable; fees chargeable for these are at an average of Kshs 50, per person. Intakes are done at all times of the year. The CMD Institute of Leadership & Governance (CMD- ILG) in conjunction with the Management University of Africa (MUA) and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science & Technology (JOOUST) offers executive educational courses designed to enhance the skills and success of the working person who can devote two, three or five days to intensive learning. Courses taught by members of the CMD- ILG faculty utilize and impart the latest concepts, tools, and tactics in the fields of politics, leadership, governance, applied politics, ethics & integrity, advocacy, gender & development, political campaigning (including campaigning tools and techniques), opinion polling and political surveys etc. Our open enrollment seminars are periodically available throughout the year for qualified applicants on a first-come, first serve basis. Custom designed seminars can be constructed in these topical areas around the specialized needs of groups, corporations, and organizations. 1. Sample Open Enrollment Seminars Open enrollment seminars utilize CMD-ILG's existing world-class programs. Global Perspective Residency courses at our offices or in locations around the country. Seminars of 2 to 5 days, or one or two weeks programmes outlining the politics, leadership, governance, applied politics, ethics & integrity, advocacy, gender & development, political campaigning (including campaigning tools and techniques), opinion polling and political surveys. Through extensive consultations, CMD- ILG will work with your organization to tailor the design, delivery, and logistics to the specific needs and goals of your programme. 4 II. CERTIFICATE COURSES (Examinable) Entry requirements are a KCSE with a mean grade of C plain. Fees charged are at an average of Kshs. 80, Intakes are done in January, May, & September; For School Based it is April, August, & December. Mode of Study is Full Time, Part-Time, Evening, Weekends, & School- Based. These courses are to be offered from January 2016 in conjunction with JOOUST and MUA. 1. Certificate in Applied Politics 2. 5 III. DIPLOMA COURSES Entry requirements are a KCSE with a mean grade of C+, or a C plain with a certificate from a relevant area. The courses are to be offered from January 2016 in conjunction with JOOUST. Fees chargeable are an average of Kshs. 110, 000. Intakes are done in January, May, & September; For School Based it is April, August, & December. Mode of Study is Full Time, Part-Time, Evening, Weekends, & School- Based. 1. 6 IV. EXECUTIVE DIPLOMA IN LEADERSHIP & GOVERNANCE Entry requirements are a C-, a certificate in a relevant area, and at least 5 years working experience in middle to senior management position. Fees chargeable are at an average of Kshs. 110, 000. The course is modular, tailor made for the working person, and lasts a year and. The credits however are not transferable. Intakes are done in January, May, & September; For School Based it is April, August, & December. Mode of Study is Full Time, Part-Time, Evening, Weekends, & School- Based. 7 V. DEGREE COURSES Entry requirements and are a KCSE mean grade of C+ or an equivalent, or mean grade of C or its equivalent with diploma in a relevant subject area. Fees chargeable are an average of Kshs 60, 000 per semester. Intakes are done in January, May, & September; For School Based it is April, August, & December.
