When pressing on REC/PAUSE, you can PAUSE the recording. To restart the recording, press one more time on REC/PAUSE and the recording restarts. This allows to record the tracks selected on the same file only. When pressing on, you stop the recording. 2.4 Deletion With this function, you can delete files saved up in the memory. To make a deletion, press on DELETE, select the file you want to delete with the (I / I) button and press on the ENTRÉE button to confirm deletion. PLEASE NOTE: If 15 messages are recorded in the player, should you delete the message 1, then all messages will move forward, i.e. the message 2 will be the message 1, the message 3 will be the message 2 and so on. When all tracks stored in the memory are deleted, the VIERGE indication displays on the display window. 3 The Remote Control Mode: You can choose between two types of configuration: - Pulse: with a dry contact, the message starts and is broadcast just once. - Permanent: the message is played repeatedly as long as the dry contact is maintained. In Remote Control mode, the player cuts off the modulation entering in AUX input and broadcasts the messages saved up in the player in the presence of any remote control. On the standby screen, the Mode Télécommande actif scrolls.
Under this mode, the keyboard buttons are inhibited except the II button providing some help. Change of the Configuration type: When pressing on, we enter the program menu. Then the display window is as follows: TELECOMMANDE : Mode Impulsion The following text scrolls: <<TELECOMMANDE : Mode Impulsion>> or <<TELECOMMANDE : Mode Permanent>>. We change from a mode to the other by pressing on I. Once the right mode is selected, confirm pressing on ENTRÉE. Then, the standby screen appears again (<<Mode Télécommande actif>> scrolls). From then on, the player is ready and is waiting for the remote controls (NO) for the messages to be released (see the remote control connector pin configuration). The messages have priority, i.e. while the message 3 is being broadcast and a remote control is connected on contact 1, then the player stops the broadcasting of message 3 and starts to broadcast message 1. If a remote control is being applied to have a nonexistent message released, the player displays on the display windows as follows: <<TELECOMMANDE : Message sélectionné inexistant>>. 4 The SLOGAN Mode: In the Slogan mode, the player cuts off the modulation coming into AUX input and broadcasts the messages recorded in the player. Two things can be parameterized: - Time between broadcasting of 2 messages: from 1 minute to 99 hours and 59 minutes. - Selection and broadcasting order of messages (sequence). 4.1 Programming Principle of Sequences: Making a sequence allows to select the messages to be broadcast in the Slogan mode, the broadcasting order and the number of messages to be broadcast. For instance, the following sequences can be made: The number under Prg corresponds to the broadcasting number of the message and the number under No corresponds to the number of the message to be broadcast. Prg No
In this 1st case, the messages from 1 to 15 are all broadcast repeatedly just once and in order. (Such a sequence is the sequence saved in the ex-works appliance). The 0 (under Prg 16) corresponds to the end of the sequence. Prg No X X X X X X X X In this 2 nd case, 7 messages are being broadcast in the following order: No 1, No 3, No 6, No 2, No 7, No 2, No 10 and No 1 is broadcast again Doing that way, the same message can be broadcast several times in the same sequence (in order to increase the broadcast frequency). It is also possible not to broadcast messages yet stored in the player. Please note 0 always appears at the end of a sequence. In the Slogan mode, the <<Mode Slogans actif>> text scrolls on the standby screen Sequence Programming: The programming of the 2 nd sequence is taken as an example as follows: Prg No X X X X X X X X From the standby screen in SLOGAN mode, press on button to enter into the Program menu. The following text scrolls on the display window: SLOGANS : ordre de diffusion des messages Then, the display window displays as follows (number 01 flashes under No): Prg.No 01 -> 01 In this menu, the button: - I / I allows to change the numbers, - «ENTREE» allows to confirm.
The number of program 1 corresponds to message 1. No modification has to be done for the number of message 1. We change to the number of program 2 by pressing once on «ENTREE». Then, the display window displays as follows with the flashing program number under No: Prg..No 02 -> 03 P r For Prg 2, message number 3 has to be broadcast. Press on I / I, select the number of message 3 and g confirm pressing on ENTRÉE.. Then, we change to the number of program 3. Then, the display window displays as follows with the program N number flashing under No: o Prg..No 03 -> 06 Press on I / I, select the number of message 6 and confirm pressing on ENTRÉE. Then, we change to the number of program 4. Then, the display window displays as follows with the program number flashing under No: Prg..No 04 -> 02 Press on I / I, select the number of message 2 and confirm pressing on ENTRÉE. Such process has to be repeated till the 7 messages have been programmed. PLEASE NOTE: Once the sequence has been completely programmed, the number of the message (No) corresponding to the number of the following program (Prg) has to correspond to 0. Otherwise, the player will scan 99 program numbers and will broadcast nonexistent or non requested programs. For instance in that case, the sequence has 7 programs. Therefore, the message number (No) of Program (Prg) number 8 has to be 0. Then, when you get to program number (Prg) 8, press I / I buttons, select 0 and confirm by pressing on ENTRÉE. Prg..No 08 -> 00
The sequence programming is now completed and confirmed. Then you directly get to the duration programming between 2 messages. 4.3 Duration Programming between 2 Messages: On the display window, the text << SLOGANS : durée entre diffusion des messages>> scrolls. Then, the display window displays as follows: HH MM Figures under HH correspond to hours and figures under MM correspond to minutes. Then figures under HH start to flash. Enter the required value with the I / I buttons. DELETE and REPEAT allow to change from hours to minutes and vice versa. Once you have entered the right duration with hours and minutes, confirm with the ENTRÉE button. Please note that when you press on to enter in the SLOGAN mode-programming, you first get to the sequence programming and then to the duration programming. If you want to program the duration only, press one more time on to get to it when you are processing the sequence programming. In Slogan mode, if a sequence is programmed with a nonexistent message, the player will display on the display window SLOGAN : message inexistant whenever it has to play such message. 5 Message Transfer via a USB Port: This function can be accessed from any kind of mode. Whenever any USB cable is connected from a PC, the player is automatically identified.
Doing that way, you can delete or add MP3 format-messages from the PC. Messages are the INTERM/VOICE/ directory. Caution: once messages have been deleted, they systematically move forward. If you delete the message 1, the message 2 will be the message 1 and so on. The order of messages is the order in which you enter them in the player. Whenever the USB cable is disconnected, the player converts automatically to the previous operating mode. 6 - Miscellaneous: All parameters are saved in the EEPROM memory. Thus, in case of a power cut, the player starts again in the previous mode with the same parameters.
