Award Amount $1000 The purpose of this qualitative study was to explore novice nurse educators lived experiences of incivility in academia and its impact on their decision to remain in academia. A Heiderggerian hermeneutical phenomenological design was used to explore uncover the lived experiences of novice nurse faculty in the academic setting and how these experiences impacted their decisions to remain in academia.
