14 Ben Schwab Partner Ben's childhood consisted of early mornings detasseling corn in the expansive fields of Iowa. With an upbringing in the heartland, he learned many lessons of perseverance, determination and countless hours on the wrestling mat. Ben received his Bachelor's Degree in Land Use Planning from Iowa State University and then headed West to the Rocky Mountains to purse his Masters degree. As a licensed architect and land use planner, Ben is experienced in all phases of commercial architecture. He has been involved in a wide range of projects, overseeing the success of smaller tenant upfits to a $95M hospitality building in the mountains of Colorado. Ben's passions have led him to be a founding partner of Stitch design + development. These passions include land use planning, architecture and interior design, project management and research and analysis. When not engaged in the development of a project you can find Ben spinning vinyl at home or enjoying live music in Winston-Salem's performance venues. 15 Pete Fala Partner Pete is a licensed architect, certified interior designer, husband and father. He spent the formative years of his life in wild West Virginia leading to his stint at the University of Charleston where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. While at UC he was also a member of the baseball team. Education University of Charleston Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, 2002 University of Colorado at Denver Master of Architecture, [email protected] With fading hopes of playing in the "Bigs" Pete moved to Colorado where he obtained his Master's Degree in Architecture. Pete has been in Winston- Salem for the past 8 years working as an interior designer and Architect on a number of award winning Commercial and Residential projects in this Region. Pete has coordinated projects of all scales, ranging from a restaurant upfit to Winston-Salem's new Professional League Baseball park. Pete is a founding member of Stitch design + development and is eager to build on the success fostered through rewarding relationships with clients and peers working toward an aligned vision. If Pete is not in the office or with his wife Traci and daughter Ollie, you can find him on one of the many trout streams in the North Carolina mountains.
