3 City Evacuation All Los Fresnos Citizens should prepare themselves now to be able to selfevacuate

5 City Evacuation Stage 1. The LFCISD will provide school busses. 2. Citizens needing assistance in evacuation will be transported to State Evacuation Hub located at the San Benito HighSchool. 3. Citizens will be able to bring one bag per person. 4. No matter what Citizen legal status is all will be evacuated and be able to return. 5. First 5000 Citizens will be transported to Laredo,
6 City Evacuation Stage cont Itemsthatwillnot that beallowedon on Busses 1. No guns!!!!!!!! 2. Any Citizen that sees someone with a firearm should report it immediately to law enforcement. 3. No alcohol.
7 City Evacuation Stage cont Itemsthat that should be brought with you. 1. Medication 2. Personal Documentation 3. Cash 4. Clothing for 7 days 5. Items to keep kids amused (IPod, game boy ect.).
8 Pets Remember: Pet owners are responsible for a pet s health and behavior!!!! 1. Pets should remain in a crate or leash at all times. 2. Please do not feed animals when the wheels are rolling. 3. Provide water only at the rest stops. 4. Separate the cats from the dogs. 5. Large dogs will be loaded last and kept close to the exit
9 Pets cont Cleanup for hygiene 1. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. 2. Do not pet someone else s animal. 3. Please do not stick your fingers into a crate or carrier. 4. Be quiet and calm; strange people and noises can be especially stressful for animals.

17 Level 0: Persons who have no medical needs but require transportation assistance for evacuation. Level 1: Persons dependent on others or in need of others for routine care (eating, walking, toileting, ti etc.) and children under 18 without adult supervision. Level 2: Persons with physical or developmental disabilities such as blindness, significant hearing impairment, amputation, deaf/blind and mental retardation.
18 Level 3: Persons requiring assistance with medical care administration, monitoring by a nurse, dependent on equipment (including dialysis), assistance with medications, and mental health disorders. Level 4: Persons outside an institutional facility care setting who require extensive medical oversight (i.e. IV chemotherapy, ventilator, t life support equipment, hospital bed and total care, morbidly obese). Level 5: Persons in institutional settings such as hospitals, long term care facilities and state supported living centers who require 24 hour care.
19 Special needs or medical special needs individuals are encouraged to pre register for evacuation assistance through the Transportation Assistance Registry (TAR) by calling Texas is also the state designated disaster information helpline.

23 Point of Embarkation Check In Process RFID Wristband Step 1: Evacuees go to check in stations which have been equipped with laptop with wireless data card, magnetic card reader and barcode reader. (LAN equipment may be required) Check in personnel swipe TxDL or type in pertinent information and link to an RFID wristband. Information is linked to a database record via wireless card in the laptop. Wristband is placed on evacuee wrist. Step 2: Evacuees go to a bus and board Evacuees RFID/barcode wristband is read when they enter bus by and evacuation official with a handheld reader Step 3: Evacuee Roster is generated and matched dto a code that t has been assigned to the bus itself. Evacuee Roster is linked to database via wireless data card via a handheld reader.
