As the exclusive partner of Intermodal Asia, the CCIA welcomes you to the second Intermodal Asia Exhibition Launched from the long-running success of the Intermodal Europe shows, established and respected throughout the industry, the first Intermodal Asia was successfully held in Shanghai last year and became a new platform for the Asian shipping and container industry. The Asia exhibition also brings new vitality into the world famous Intermodal brand! It is the perfect opportunity for professionals from throughout the world to come together to network, do business and encourage the healthy and sustainable development of modern intermodal transport. The Asian and Chinese shipping industry exerts an indispensable role all around the world. In 2014, the national strategy concept of The New Silk Road Economic Region and 21 century Maritime Silk Road, proposed by China leaders are being energetically promoted, and the activities have also had a positive response from regional countries. The Chinese government has introduced medium & long-term plans for the Logistics Industry ( ), which put intermodal as the primary task of logistics development, building new great route of international cooperation and generating a new opportunity in Asia. Intermodal transportation has changed the development of the world economy and trade, and it will bring positive and profound change for global future development. This exhibition will bring together hundreds of shipping companies, leasing companies, container manufacturing companies from domestic and overseas, and other relative suppliers. We will exchange extensive views on hot topics such as current macroeconomic situation and international trading etc. Intermodal Asia will become a new platform that provides Chinese enterprises access to integrating with international business. New to this year is the introduction of a third Conference Theatre to our conference programme The Technology Theatre providing more opportunity to hear presentations from industry leaders. All sessions in the Strategy, Innovation and Technology Theatres are free-to-attend and are located within the exhibition hall. Please note that for the upto-date conference programme please check the displays outside each conference theatre. In addition to the Exhibition and the Conference is the Container Park, which is located just outside the main entrance of the building. The Container Park proved an extremely popular showcase last year and it will once again exhibit a wide range, with over 30 different units on display. Intermodal is a global brand that takes place annually in the key shipping hubs in Asia and Europe. We want to develop our events to ensure that they continue to meet the industry s needs and so we would greatly value your feedback.
