2 Select Appropriate Assesse from Taxbase software : If you choose Status as Company, Trust or Co-Op Society it will automatically show you form 3CA.

3 Select Appropriate Assesse from Taxbase software : If you choose Status as other than above mentioned categories it will show you automatically form as 3CB.

4 Then in Taxbase go to forms and select Form 3CD and click on this

5 It will give you this screen Here you have click on e3ca e3cd option first. Below it will show you option for Import & Export through Excel

6 On this screen it will pick Up the necessary details from assesses static information given at the time of assesse creation other Information regarding CA Name Membership number and CA Address you have to type manually then save it you will be back to previous screen

7 If you choose Partner ship firm and entered partners details in the Taxbase as shown in the screen Same details will be fetch from Taxbase Software to Item No 7 in 3CD Form as shown in the screen shot, or you can click on reload data button also for same

8 Details entered in the General Information 1 will be pick up automatically in 3CD form as shown below or you can click on reload data This data will pick up to point number 8 from General Information 1 to 3CD

9 In Item No 11, 12 you have to mentioned Which type of accounting system you have employed in previous year, if there is any changes in this year. Same way you have to mentioned which method you have employed for your stock valuation and if there is any change in the president year for mentioning Stock Valuation method you have 59 characters space available

10 Depreciation details entered through Business & Profession option, under allowable expenses as shown in the screen shot will be transferred to 3CD Form Same will be transferred to Item no 14 in 3CD form after you click on Reload Data option provided to you. If you maintained details like addition date wise it will reflect same here also.

11 Enter details of Each loan taken or funds deposited in the business as shown in the screen shot. If same is applicable in 24b then you have facility to copy same details in 24b from 24a vis- a-viz

12 Details of Losses Brought Forward entered in the Taxbase Software under option Losses B.F. and Adjusted as shown in the screen shot. Same data will be fetch in 3CD Form Item number 25 as shown in the screen shot

13 Details entered in the Taxbase Software in deduction under Chapter VIA as shown in the screen shot same will be picked up in the option no 26 in 3CD data entry after clicking on reload data.

14 This way you have to complete data entry of all the Items 3CA, 3CB & 3CD in the Taxbase Software. At last in Annexure I you have to give details of Balance Sheet figures for Current Year and Preceding Year & then click on Print button to print 3CA, 3CB & 3CD Audit Report on Screen

15 3CA, 3CB & 3CD Printing on Screen : When it will print form 3CA on the desktop it will look like this as shown on the screen shot

17 3CA, 3CB & 3CD E-File Creation : For converting this report into XML file click on E-File button provided at the bottom of screen, then it will ask you for location where to save your audit file, give the location It will ask you to validate XML file created by you on the location specified by you

18 3CA, 3CB & 3CD E-Filing Errors Clearance : During validation it will check for errors in the respective file and list you those errors, which you need to clear it. After successful validation without any errors it will prompt you your file is successfully validated against the schema

19 3CA, 3CB & 3CD In XML Format : This is you 3CD.XML file which is ready for uploading on the Income Tax Website

20 3CA, 3CB & 3CD Through Excel Export : To prepare audit report through Excel Import and Export Utility : - Go to Forms - Select 3CD - On bottom left side click - Select Export to Excel - Click on OK - Give location to save file - After export it will give you message as file exported successfully

21 3CA, 3CB & 3CD Data Entry in Excel Sheet : Click on Launch Form 3CA 3CD, it will open file in excel format for data entry

22 3CA, 3CB & 3CD Data Entry in Excel Sheet : It will give you file like this in which you have to feed data in Form 3CA, 3CD Part A(1-6), 3CD Part B(7-32), 3CD Annexure I Part A, 3CD Annexure I Part B one by one.

23 3CA, 3CB & 3CD Data Entry in Excel Sheet : After complete data entry is over your Excel file will look like this, you have to click on save and then on Validate button to validate this file

24 3CA, 3CB & 3CD Data Import in Taxbase : Then go to Taxbase Software : - Select Respective Assessee - Then go to forms - Click on 3CD - Click on import from Excel - It will ask you to overwrite data, make sure that if you say Yes it will overwrite existing data from 3CD - It will import data from the excel sheet to your 3CD Form - Then Click on print - Click on E-file - Validate file and generate error free file for uploading
