Akron Community Online Resource Network -A service of the Akron/Summit County Public Library provides resource links for community support services, job search and free . Akron Jobs- In addition to Akron jobs, you can look for jobs throughout Ohio and specific cities. Industry specific and key word searches are available. This site has recently combined with Career Path. Career Journal -A service of the Wall Street Journal, this site features excellent articles and advice on job seeking, as well as job posting database geared to executives, managers and professionals. Career One Stop- -This site is a partnership between the U.S. Dept. of Labor and state operated public Employment Service. It has tools for job seekers, students, businesses, and career professionals. Careers.Org - Careers.Org offers an extensive directory of links to careers, jobs, education, employment and career reference resources sorted by topic and region. Employment Guide -This data base can be localized down to the city level. The site has sections on career inventory, career advice as well as a library and a bookstore to order job search materials.
