9 BIOS WILLIE DENT Co-owner of Kiwi Audio Visual, Willie hails from New Zealand, hence the Kiwi name. He first came to the United States in 1992 to pursue a career in publishing. However, in 1996 Willie joined Tyro Home Entertainment Systems where he supervised all custom AV installations. In 2000, Willie Dent and Alan Pickering purchased the company and created Kiwi Audio Visual. From that point on, Willie has diligently provided discerning clients with the ultimate audio/visual experience. He continues to be involved in every Kiwi AV project, and most recently has been pushing the boundaries of total home automation. ALAN PICKERING Co-owner of Kiwi Audio Visual, Alan is originally from South Africa where he received a degree in business administration and business finance from the University of Pietermaritzburg. After moving to southern California, he worked in finance in the construction industry for five years before joining Kiwi Audio Visual in Since that time, he and Willie have seen Kiwi AV grow into one of the largest, most well respected custom audio/visual companies in the area. ALEX ANTRIM, CPI I Alex joined Kiwi Audio Visual in 2007 immediately after completing a 10-year tour in the United States Navy, where he received extensive training on both high and low voltage systems, video-teleconferencing, commercial phone systems, and distributed audio and video. As our Lead Engineer, Alex creates custom home concepts by working closely with the sales team and clients to develop and design automated systems and schematics for all installed components. As a CEDIA Certified Professional Installer I and the only Registered CEDIA Outreach Instructor in San Diego, Alex also works to educate industry partners on the benefits of partnering with Electronic System Contractors and installing automated residential systems.

10 BIOS JOSH ARMSTRONG Josh has the rare ability to take any situation and make the best of it with what is available. After arriving in southern California, Josh worked in the construction industry where he went from framing to low voltage work. Fascinated by the work, he chose to go to low voltage school and has remained in the industry ever since. As a dedicated member of our team, Josh has become our General Manager and takes a hands on approach to field applications. He believes that in our ever-evolving industry, you have to be hands-on, not just for the sale, but also to maintain a system for its entire service life. STEFANIE SCHERER Stefanie started her career in the multimedia industry working in graphic and website design. In 2001, she was introduced to Crestron Home Automated products, and started working with Kiwi Audio Visual in 2004, ultimately becoming responsible for all program interfacing. With almost a decade of experience installing high-end automated systems into homes, corporate boardrooms and million-dollar casinos, Stefanie still greatly enjoys the ever-changing technology and the challenges it brings. It is because of her that all systems we install are simplified into a sleek handheld remote for the owner.
