1 FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES JULY 16, 2015 The Finance Committee of the Broome County Legislature met on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in the Legislative Conference Room, Sixth Floor, Edwin L. The Committee took the following action with regard to the matters before it: #1 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND MARKETS FARMLAND PROTECTION PLAN PROGRAM GRANT FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, ADOPTING A PROGRAM BUDGET AND AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE MARKETING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALLOCATION OF THE OCCUPANCY TAX FOR #2 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH SPIEDIE FEST AND BALLOON RALLY EXPO, INC. FOR USE OF OTSININGO PARK FOR THE 2015 SPIEDIE FEST & BALLOON RALLY #3 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CANCELLATION OF REAL PROPERTY TAXES PLUS ACCRUED INTEREST AND PENALTIES ON PARCELS IN THE TOWNS OF COLESVILLE, LISLE AND WINDSOR #4 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT WITH LOURDES HOSPITAL FOR MEDICAL LAB AND DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND SERVICES FOR THE WILLOW POINT NURSING HOME FOR 2015 Responding to a question from Mr. Flagg, Ms. Kalka stated that these are reimbursable services. 1

FOR DARK FIBER FOR THE DIVISION OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOR The Bonadio Group presented their audit of Broome County s 2014 financial records. The required communications and reports are on file in the Clerk s Office.
