1 Basecamp to Typefi Support CUSTOMER MIGRATION GUIDE 1
2 Introduction Dear Customer, Typefi Systems Pty Ltd is happy to announce an expansion of our online project and support systems. Our new workspace will replace BaseCamp as the primary means of communicating and collaborating on your projects. In addition to the new system, your login credentials will now be managed by our central Identity Management System; this means a single set of credentials to access the project management, support, and file transfer systems. All the slides in Part.1 of this guide juxtapose Typefi Support Portal over BaseCamp. Whereas, the slides in Part.2 showcase some of the new features available. Please review them at your convenience and look for further s concerning this project. The migration is schedule to be completed before the end of September Sincerely, 2
3 Logging in: The login interfaces are similar, but your credentials for BaseCamp will not work. Please use your address as the username, and the password issued to you with the migration announcement. You can manage your credentials using the Identity and Password Management link. For assistance with logging in, click the Remote Support link. 3
4 Part.1. Common Features Comparison 4
5 The Dashboard Once you log in, the Dashboard will load. We have intentionally carried over small amounts of data, so the activity screen may show There are no activities logged. From the Dashboard you have access to your project, your profile, and an several other features. 5
6 Active Projects To view your existing project, click on the Active Projects tab. You can drag & drop the projects into the Favorite Projects area for quicker access to them in the future. 6
7 Single Project Dashboard Once you open a project, an additional menu is displayed as tabs, across the top. The Project Dashboard shows the latest activities. From here you have access to valuable tools like Checklists, Discussions, Files, and support Tickets. 7
8 Project Discussions Discussions, known as Messages in BaseCamp, are displayed as a list and organized by category. Customers can create new Discussions or reply to existing ones. Discussions should not be used for support issues, as we now have an advanced ticket system reserved for that purpose. 8
9 Project Checklists Checklists, known as To-Do s in BaseCamp, are used to track tasks. Typefi Support supports multiple lists which can be linked to milestones. Once all the tasks are completed in a checklist, it is immediately archived. Archived Checklists re-open automatically if new tasks are added to them. To create tasks with comments, assignments and attachments, use Tickets instead. 9
10 Project Files Files are used to exchange documents, images, screenshots and other data with Typefi. The recommended file limit for the system is 8Mb. Anything larger should be transferred via the Typefi FTP system. You can use your Typefi Support credentials to access our FTP server at 10

12 Support Tickets Tickets are used for issue tracking and resolution. All customers are asked to submit support requests through our Ticket system. notifications are sent to each person assigned when you submit a new Ticket, or when new activity is posted to a Ticket. You may reply to Tickets via Typefi Support Portal or . 12

14 Identity Management You can change your password, edit your name information, or even update your address. Your user name cannot be changed, but we ll gladly do it for you. Feel free to open a support ticket or send us an . 14
15 Migration Support issues If you have any problems logging into our new system, we are here to help. Just visit support.typefi.com and click the Request Support option. Be sure to provide your company name and preferably your current BaseCamp username. We appreciate your patience and look forward to working with you. 15
