The minor can be combined with any majors in the School of Economics. It provides opportunities to develop and make use of one s knowledge in other areas of study. On the other hand, the minor contributes to sustainability expertise. Sustainability concerns are introduced in this program as an increasingly relevant context of business. The interdisciplinarity of the program will enhance the understanding of the work practices of sustainability experts from different fields as well the skills of communication about sustainability. Structure of the minor studies in Creative Sustainability (Aalto University School of Economics): It is acceptable if all the courses in the minor are done in the School of Economics, but due to the interdisciplinary nature of the CS-program, it is highly recommended that students also complete courses from the School of Art and Design and from the School of Engineering. Other: cs0010 Projects 1-12 cr cs0015 Theoretical Changing Courses 1-12 cr Responsibilities and contact persons at the Aalto University are as follows: - PhD Mikko Jalas, and International Business, School of Economics - Prof. Trevor Harris, Architecture, School of Science and Technology - D. Sc Barbara Havel, Real-estate, School of Science and Technology - Program Director Tiina Laurila, School of Art and Design Additional information of the Creative sustainability -program and of submission and the selection criteria are available at IDBM (40006) The IDBM minor studies aim to deepen students understanding on multidisciplinary and multicultural teamwork through specialized courses and hands-on business projects. The minor is offered only for master level students that are selected for the IDBM Minor Program. The basic structure for IDBM minor studies for the School of Economics students is as follows: MINOR STUDIES STRUCTURE (24 CR) 1. IDBM Industry Project (10*/16 CR) The industry project credits are divided to three inputs 26E01300 IDBM Industry Project (Business)* id0003 IDBM Industry Project (Design) 5 cr TU IDBM Industry Project (Technology) 5 cr *Some students have the possibility to include the School of Economics Industry Project input (26E01300, 6 CR) to their major studies. In this case the students can complete more studies in the School of Art and Design and Schools of Technologies. 2. Studies at the School of Art and Design (4/7** CR) Selected from the list 3. Studies at the School of Science/School of Engineering (4/7** CR) Selected from the list **Students that include the IDBM Industry project input (6 CR) to their major studies can take courses worth of 7 credits at the School of Art and Design and Schools of Technologies.

12 DESCRIPTIONS OF THE MINOR STUDIES IN THE MSC PROGRAMS 89 It is also proposed that in special cases the students can apply for different minor studies structure. In that case the student will receive fewer credits from the project in order to be able to study more at the other schools. The minimum amount of credits for the project is in any case 6 CR. Thus, the minor studies (24 CR) would in that case be formed as follows: 6 CR IDBM Industry Project + 9 CR studies at School of Art and Design+ 9 CR studies at the Schools of Technologies.
