Objective: Ever since globalization and opening up of the economy, banking in India is changing fast to keep pace with, and attain the standards of international banking norms. 5 14) Diploma in Corporate Mergers and Acquisition (D.C.M.A.) Objective: With the policies of privatization, globalization and liberalization world over there is a gradual shift in corporate policies. The corporate restructuring has reached such a height that Mergers and Acquisitions are becoming part and parcel of corporate lawyer's life. But the process of M&A needs involvement of good expertise deliberation, action and implementation. Hence there is a need for training lawyers in subject like M&A which also deals with the issues of law. Hence keeping in mind the importance of this subject such course as well as practical aspects of M&A is designed under this course. A student can opt for maximum one diploma in an academic year. 2. Students of Symbiosis Law School are allowed to concurrently pursue diploma programs with the regular law programme.
