2 PENNSYLVANIA S JOB CRISIS THE PROBLEM PA job growth slips from top 10 among all states when Gov. Corbett took office to 49 th today: PA has a deficit of 212,000 jobs when compared to national average PA significantly trails all of its surrounding states for new job growth since Jan Less than 100,000 net new jobs have been created since Jan PA job growth is less than one-fifth of what it was just a few years ago (more than 5 times less)
