5 Starting Key Questions Do common features exist among all performances and challenges? How can we recognise them? How can we improve them? How can we check their efficacy during the competition?

6 The SFERA Model This model aims to create a specific access to the athlete s best mental status by structuring his mental representation. The assumption is that the potential performance merges perfectly with the real one. This model has to be originated from different approaches and methods.

19 INTELLIGENZA AGONISTICA AGONISTIC INTELLIGENCE Agonistic Intelligence is the skill that allows the use of psychological, physical and technical resources, through the SFERA factors and the rules determinating the connection of mind, body and environment.

Recognise the relative importance from the different elements in the same situation 4. Give a meaning to ambiguous and contradictory messages 5. Find out the similarity in different situations
