8 Building Strategic Partnership by Delivering Exceptional Results CREDIT RISK TRAINING PROGRAM THE CHALLENGE Our client, a development bank in EMEA, wanted to introduce analytical discipline and raise the level of credit understanding with their front-office managers. The challenge was developing a systematic credit process, methodology and implementing it across the organization in order to achieve their ultimate goal of social growth and sound lending practices. OUR SOLUTION A program director from our team carried out an extensive interview process over three days in order to design tailored training solutions that meet the client s unique needs. On the basis of those interviews a customized program was developed involving two levels (foundational & advanced) of classroom training, customised materials and case studies (based on typical client transactions). BENEFITS & RESULTS The foundational and advanced training program was delivered to each employee involved in the bank s credit process. Two separate sessions were held with the first session (3 days) focused on credit risk and the second session (5 days) dedicated to advanced credit risk. These sessions provided the attendees the required skills to assess credit risk in a systematic manner and seamlessly transfer the learning to their daily work. 9 RISKORIGINS SOFTWARE TRAINING THE CHALLENGE One of the largest multi-national banks in the South Pacific purchased Moody s Analytics RiskOrigins software and was conducting an enterprise-wide implementation. The bank needed to implement an effective, cost-efficient solution to train 6,000 widely dispersed staff on how to use the new platform in a short period of time. OUR SOLUTION Working closely with our client and Moody s Analytics Enterprise Risk Services team, we built a scalable, customized, cost effective learning solution to bring new users up to speed in the weeks before the software launch. The program included online learning modules, a practice environment for learners, supporting documentation, implementation support, a tracking mechanism to monitor training completion, and assessments to ensure that learners understood how to use the platform. BENEFITS & RESULTS The customized elearning program was successfully rolled out and completed by thousands of users in advance of the software release.
