These courses will help you develop the skills you need to create effective and engaging elearning courses. Articulate Certified Training Courses: Articulate Storyline 2 (3 Days) This 3-day training course provides professionals who use Articulate Storyline 2 with everything they need to create compelling elearning design. With a series of lab exercises, this highly interactive workshop will introduce you to all of the tools and features Storyline 2 has to offer. Learn everything from the building blocks of Storyline to some of the more advanced features like variables and conditions. These lab exercises will allow you to put into practice the key tools needed to build highly interactive learning modules. Prerequisites: A moderate comfort level with Windows applications, as Articulate Storyline 2 is a standalone Windows-based application. Some lab exercises require Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

3 Articulate Studio 13 Pro (2 Days) This 2-day training course provides professionals who use Articulate Studio with everything they need to create compelling elearning courses. You ll receive hands-on exercises and real-world examples utilising the power of Articulate Presenter, Engage, Quizmaker, Replay and some of the more advanced and interactive features of PowerPoint. You will also have the opportunity to build resources that can be used when you return to the office. Prerequisites: A moderate comfort level with the general operations of a computer, you should be able to create a PowerPoint presentation with custom animations, locate, move and copy files on your PC and learn user-friendly PC applications. Introduction to Learning Design (1 Day) elearning opens up a world of possibilities but getting started can be a daunting task. This workshop will cover the fundamentals of instrumental design to ensure you get off to a flying start with your first elearning projects. Prerequisites: This course is for anyone new to developing elearning and participants should come prepared to discuss a potential course they may have to develop. Advanced Learning Design (1 Day) This workshop encourages any elearning designer, content author or instructional designer to think beyond simple page-turning and how to develop an engaging and stimulating elearning course. Prerequisites: 1-day Omniplex Introduction to Instructional Design workshop or equivalent experience. Also should be knowledgeable with the elearning development process and basic elearning authoring tool skills.

You will also have the opportunity to build resources that can be used when you return to the office.

4 Introduction to elearning Project Management (1 Day) This course is for individuals who are new to project managing for elearning. It covers writing a project plan, identifying the different stages of a project and minimising risk at each stage from the initial consultation to launch. Fundamentals of Graphic Design for elearning (1 Day) Making your elearning more attractive, also makes it more engaging. This workshop introduces the basic graphic design skills and practices that may be used to create aesthetically pleasing modules. This course is intended for any elearning designer, content author or instructional designer who is looking to improve the look and feel of their work. Prerequisites: 1-day Omniplex Introduction to Instructional Design workshop or equivalent experience, knowledgeable with the elearning development process and basic PowerPoint/eLearning authoring tool skills. Engaging Effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) (1 Day) For a learning designer, one of the critical skills in creating successful elearning courses is the ability to engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This one day workshop provides a framework for working successfully with SMEs, enabling you to produce effective elearning and blended learning. Prerequisites: 1-day Omniplex Introduction to Instructional Design workshop. Knowledgeable with the elearning development process and basic elearning authoring tool skills.
