1 SHIVAJI UNIVERSITY, KOLHAPUR Admission Notification PART A Applications are invited for admissions to the regular and distance mode courses run by the University on the campus and in its affiliated colleges. For details about the entrance examinations, application forms, examination centers, online enrollments and admission rounds, etc., candidates may refer to a Course Directory or visit the University web site Note: Candidates who have already appeared for the final year qualifying examination and whose results are awaited can also apply, However, they must submit a copy of their qualifying examination Statement of Marks at the time of admission else they will not be held eligible for admission. 1. Copy of Course Directory can be purchased from University Office from 10 th April. 2014, by paying Rs.100/- in cash (Non Refundable) / by Demand Draft in favour of Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, or from Publication Section, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. If demanded by post additional charges of Rs.30/- be paid. 2. Candidate has to fill the form ONLY ONLINE through the University website from 1 st April, Entrance Examination Fee (Non Refundable) for each subject is Rs.200/-. 3. The Payment for the Course Directory, Entrance Examination fee etc. can be made by cash or Demand Draft in the favour of Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. 4. The Candidate should submit hard copy of the application form along with D.D. or cash receipt of payment by post or by Courier or submit in person to the concerned department. i) Candidates can apply for more than one degree course. However they will have to fill up separate forms. ii) Candidates are required to fill up the forms ONLINE 5. If the number of candidates is below 10 at the center, the University reserves the right to cancel the said Entrance Examination center. 6 C) For Distance Mode M.B.A. - (M.B.A. Executive / M.B.A.) Total marks 100 i) General Knowledge & Aptitude ii) Numerical & verbal ability & data comphrension etc, Other Instructions : a) Candidate should confirm their Seat No. of the Entrance Examination at University website five days before the Entrance Examination. b) Hall Tickets will be verified at the Examination Centre along with Photo Identity Proof (Pan Card/ Driving Licence / Election Card / Aadhar Card / College ID) c) The answer sheet will be of OMR (OPTICAL MARK READER) type and all answers are to be marked by BLACK BALL POINT PEN only. (Only for the OFF LINE Exam.) d) Admission to candidates will be given on the basis of merit of the Entrance Examination, and on the basis of the qualifying examination ( Refer Course Directory) e) The syllabus for the Entrance Examination will be based on the syllabus of qualifying degree. Candidate who have passed M.Ed. CET May/June 2014 of Government of Maharashtra (CET Result on MKCL Website) have to fill up Admission form of Shivaji University only on-line at their location. The M.Ed. Admission form of Shivaji University will be available on the University website online.shivajiuniversity.in and kept open from the next day of the M.Ed. CET (MKCL) result till 15 days after the said result. 2. Payment of Rs.200/- for Course Directory and Admission process etc can be made by cash or Demand Draft drawn in the favour of Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur. 3. Candidate should take print-out the M.Ed. Admission form of Shivaji University filled on-line with Demand Draft details and send the hard copy along with the D.D. or Receipt of payment by post or by courier or address to The Registrar, Shivaji University, Kolhapur (M.S.) and submit to the Department of Education of Shivaji University, Kolhapur on or before the last date i.e. 15 days after the result of the M.Ed. CET (MKCL) 4. The Admission Rounds dates will be declared after the M.Ed. CET (MKCL) result on the Shivaji University website: and Admissions process will be conducted in the Department.
