We service over 3000 devices annually throughout Australia and are committed to professional, competent service to ensure your complete satisfaction. We offer a full service in all aspects of Thermostatic Mixing Valves and other plumbing services including: Free on-site analysis Competitive Fees Installation and service of all makes and models of Thermostatic Mixing Valves, Backflow Prevention Devices and Emergency Eye Wash and Shower Equipment Certificates for all testing/commissioning results in electronic format Electronic notification of next scheduled service call, 4 weeks prior to due date We are supported by: $20 million of public liability insurance cover All our staff hold current Federal Police checks BSA Trade Contractors Licence Thermostatic Mixing Valve Licence Certification Backflow Licence Certification Plumbers Licence Certification Compliance with Australian Standard 4032 Commissioning Maintenance and Installation for Thermostatic Mixing Valves THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVES WHAT IS A THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVE (TMV)? A Thermostatic Mixing Valve is a device that delivers a mix of hot and cold water to showers and basins that ensure safe and constant temperatures are delivered at the water outlet to prevent scalding injuries. SUB-HEADING WHY DO TMVS REQUIRE TESTING AND HOW FREQUENTLY IS TESTING REQUIRED? It is a mandatory requirement that all TMVs are tested and certified to ensure correct working order is maintained. TMVs are required to be tested annually and this is legislated in the Australian National Standard AS WHO IS ABLE TO SERVICE A TMV? Only a TMV accredited licensed plumber can service Thermostatic Mixing Valves. MANAGING THE ANNUAL TESTING OF TMVS: Thermostatic Actuators and Dynamic O Rings and Seals are required to be changed every 5 years, or, as prescribed by the manufacturer. All certificates and valve registers should be saved as a PDF file for ease of access. NQTVMS SERVICES: We provide you with a PDF service certificate of your Thermostatic Mixing Valve, including a valve register. Clients will also receive a full PDF copy of our license certificates, insurance policies and Federal police checks for their accreditation requirements. 4 BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICES EMERGENCY EYE WASH AND SHOWER EQUIPMENT WHAT IS A BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE? A Backflow Prevention Device is used to prevent the water supply from being contaminated by stopping water in a non-potable main from flowing back into the drinking water main. WHAT IS AN EMERGENCY EYE WASH / SHOWER? The purpose of an Emergency Eye Wash / Shower station is to enable immediate and critical response to incidents involving persons exposed to hazardous substances. WHY DO BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICES REQUIRE TESTING AND HOW FREQUENTLY IS TESTING REQUIRED? It is a mandatory requirement from all local council authorities throughout Australia that all Backflow Prevention Devices are tested and certified to ensure correct working order. Service certificates must be forwarded to local authorities every 12 months as per the Australian National Standard AS WHO IS ABLE TO SERVICE A BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICE? Only a Backflow accredited licensed plumber can service Backflow Prevention Devices. MANAGING THE ANNUAL TESTING OF BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICES: All certificates and device registers should be saved as a PDF file for ease of access. NQTVMS SERVICES: We provide you with a PDF service certificate of your Backflow Prevention Device, including a device register. Clients will also receive a full PDF copy of our license certificates, insurance policies and Federal police checks for their accreditation requirements. Emergency Eye Wash / Shower Equipment should be tested and certified every 12 months as per the Australian National Standard AS WHO IS ABLE TO TEST AN EMERGENCY EYE WASH / SHOWER? Weekly: Facility staff members Annually: Technician familiar with the testing procedures as per AS MANAGING THE ANNUAL TESTING OF EMERGENCY EYE WASH / SHOWER EQUIPMENT: All certificates and device registers should be saved as a PDF for ease of access.
