1 March 2014 Dear Friends, RULES "Trophée Ulysse" Event will be carried out according to the UIPM Rules 2014 Shooting: On a special Shooting Combined Stand of 22 stations along the Athletic track. Laser shooting for Youth A, Youth B, Youth C, Youth D and Youth E categories. Running: (Athletes must have their own laser equipment: pistol & target). => However, if you have any problem to get the laser material, thank you to advice the organizer, and we try to find a solution for you. Let us know as soon as possible. On an Athletic Stadium with track of 400m Swimming: 50m Outdoor or 25m Indoor Swimming-pool (8 lanes) Fencing: In a large Gymnasium with 12 pistes (only for Individual Youth A) ACCOMMODATION We propose 2 possibilities: In Perpignan (near the Sports Area) in a College with rooms for 4 people. In Canet en Roussillon (near the sea) in Hotel with twin rooms.

2 Trophée Ulysse 2014 FINANCIAL CONDITIONS The prices above include Full Board Accommodation (from the 28th June evening meal to the 29th June after lunch) and Accreditation for all the Competition. In Perpignan: 50 per person (40 per person per day before or after the competition) In Canet en Roussillon: 70 per person (60 per person per day before or after the competition) Delegations are required to send by bank transfer a minimum of 30% of the total amount of your accommodation invoice by 27th may 2014 (Payment must be in ). Otherwise, the reservation will not be guaranteed. After receiving the Final Entry form and deposit we will send you an invoice for the remainder of the total cost of stay for your Delegation. This must be paid by bank transfer to arrive no later than 20th June TRANSPORTATION PLAN Transport from and to Perpignan Airport or Barcelona International Airport is possible with booking and supplement. Thank you to give your need and we propose our help. TRAINING POSSIBILITIES Trainings are available for teams to arrive sooner or to start latter the Competition. It is necessary to book by 10 may Swimming: 25 / hour per lane. Combined: 10 / hour on the Athletic Stadium with the use of the Shooting Combined Stand. Fencing: 15 / hour in the Fencing room with 5 pistes. ENTRY FORMS The Preliminary and Final entry Forms (included at the end of this invitation) must be completed and submitted to the Organisers by by the following dates: Form A (Intent) By 15 April 2014 Form B (Preliminary) By 10 May 2014 Form C (Final) By 5 June 2014 We would appreciate the early confirmation of your intention to participate or not. Please submit Form A at the end of this document as early as possible.

3 TROPHÉE ULYSSE 2014 ATHLETES LICENSES Athletes are only allowed to participate in UIPM sanctioned events if they are in possession of a valid UIPM Athletes License for Youth A and Youth B and to obtain points for the UIPM Ranking. VISAS & VACCINATIONS Visiting nations should confirm visa and vaccination requirements for entry into France prior travelling to the Trophée Ulysse event. INSURANCE The organiser will not accept any responsibility financial or otherwise for loss, injury or illness of any Delegation member. All members of the attending Delegations must insure themselves by a sufficient health, accident and liability insurance. By submitting the competition entry the National Federation confirms that all persons named on the entry are covered by such an insurance. All competitors from qualifying countries should bring their EHIC (European Health Insurance Cards) cards with them to show they are entitled to free emergency treatment in France. GENERAL INFORMATION All athletes are kindly requested to wear their official national or club uniform during the Trophée Ulysse event. By entering this competition you agree to pay for any damage incurred as a result of your stay in the Accommodation.
