5 NAME OF TRITONIA The name refers to the location of Tritonia by the sea. Triton was a son of Poseidon, God of the Sea in the ancient Greek mythology. It also refers to the three functions of Tritonia: the library of the universities, the library of the universities of applied sciences, and the supporting unit for teaching at all five universities
