2 Certificate in Christian Studies The Certificate in Christian Studies is designed to train students in various biblical, theological, historical and practical disciplines at the undergraduate level and to help the church by enhancing the gifts of Christian leaders. It is not designed to be training for ordained ministries. The Certificate is equivalent to one year of the Bachelor of Theology degree program. If students decide to pursue the BTh they must reapply for the program, but are able to transfer their Certificate credits. Please include: Application for admission (found below) DEADLINE: July 1 Two official transcripts of high school and post-secondary institutions (if applicable). Official transcripts must be sent directly to ADC from the respective institutions. 4 INSTRUCTIONS FOR DIVINITY COLLEGE APPLICANTS Thank you for considering Acadia Divinity College. Please read these instructions carefully before completing the application form. Application Procedure Everything you need to apply to Acadia Divinity College is enclosed in this package. Ask your referees to send the reference forms directly to ADC in a sealed envelope. -secondary institutions you have attended send TWO copies of your official transcripts to Acadia Divinity College. If you have not attended a post-secondary institution and are applying to the Bachelor of Theology program, ensure your secondary (high) school transcript is sent. Your application will be considered when all of the supporting documents have been received. You are reminded that it is your responsibility to request and submit all required documentation to Acadia Divinity College. Note: It is often difficult to locate applicants during the summer months. Please ensure that your permanent or temporary address is valid during this time.
