3 Clinical Experience As resident in Medical Oncology, Lausanne: Chemotherapeutic care and follow up of adult oncology patients. Participated in local and multicentric clinical trials As resident in Internal Medicine, Geneva: Patient care in various subspecialties. In particular: medical ICU (Prof. J.-C. Chevrolet), bone marrow transplantation (Prof. B. Chapuis), emergencies, ambulance service (in Switzerland: attended by MDs). Participated in academic activities in the interdisciplinary workshops As resident in Anesthesiology, Geneva: Clinical rotations as anesthesiologist in the following fields of surgery: orthopedics, urology, abdominal (visceral) incl. liver transplantation, cardiothoracic, vascular, plastic, otolaryngology, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and ambulatory surgery. Non-surgical anesthetic subspecialties: invasive radiology, CATscan, NMR, endoscopy. Clinical rotations in surgical ICU (Prof. P.M. Suter) Specific rotations in the Emergency department (1 year). Responsibilities included the training of resident doctors, supervision of multiple operation rooms, supervision of consultations and participation to clinical trials. During emergency and night shifts, I was in

4 charge of all anesthesiology interventions in the, including evaluation and treatment of patients, as well as allocation and supervision of doctors and nurses. Worked as an attending doctor in helicopter rescue. Participated to academic activities in the interdisciplinary workshops, and teaching to resident doctors and nurses.
