9 Patient Savings Program Next Gen has partnered with LDM and is no longer using PDR for this service. When a prescription is printed or eprescribed, data is sent to LDM in order to determine if savings are available. If savings coupon exists, the results are returned to EHR, a code will display on RX Print, Fax and ERX and the code will be returned to the pharmacy Script Guides (education) can be printed with medications. This is similar to the monograph feature although is it not replacing it. In the event that that pharmacy does not receive the code, the coupons can be manually printed This service can be enable through NextGen Communication Services and requires set up in Practice Preferences and User Preferences
10 Medical Summary Utility (MSU) Enhancements The ability to set Sensitive Data Exclusions for CCD/CCDA, exports for the Patient Portal, NG Share, EHR Connect and any other application that sends CCD/CCDA.
