5 1 Training Overview Training Structure Job-Oriented Training Multi-Customer Training Ordering Training The training portfolio is job-oriented. It provides the sets of modules packaged to fulfill the needs of each job. These packages have been carefully designed to cover all the educational aspects of Small Cell Solution operators. A complete description of each module is given in Section 2. Multi-customer sessions are organized throughout the year. You can find the schedule of these sessions on the extranet. NOTE: The sessions are confirmed when there are at least four (4) participants. The sequences can be ordered globally as described in this document, but they can also be built by combining elementary training modules. NOTE: When ordering several sequences for the same trainees, check there are no duplicate modules. The same module can be part of several sequences. Training Delivery Teaching Language Training Documentation Training Location Number of Participants Training Platforms Training Prerequisites All training courses can be delivered in. Most of them can also be delivered in other languages. Please refer to the individual training module description to check in what language the training module can be delivered. All training documentation given with the training course is only available in. All training modules can be delivered either at Alcatel-Lucent premises or on the customer s site. As a general rule, the number of participants is 12 for theoretical training and 8 for practical training. For practical training, the number of participants depends on the amount of equipment required. When the training is requested on the customer s site, please check what equipment is available. Alcatel-Lucent has its own training platform for practice. When practical training is delivered on site, it is the responsibility of the customer to provide access to platforms. For each module, prerequisites are specified; please make sure the trainees fulfill them. 5 / 51
