Keilor Downs will construct a new facility to accommodate Building and Construction. While Marian will construct a new facility for hospitality and hairdressing. The funds will be used to build a new facility with industry standard equipment located on the Dandenong campus of Chisholm Institute TAFE. Commercial Cookery and Patisserie will be delivered at St John's Regional and Competitive Manufacturing/Engineering (Metals) will be delivered at Hampton Park. The project will see significant upgrading of facilities and equipment at the central site at Hallam Senior, including refurbishment and new workshops, hitech facilities and upgrading to existing facilities at Hampton Park and St John's to meet industry standards. The Trade will address skills shortages in the Service Skills industry. will be used to complete an existing hospitality skills centre and provide equipment to upgrade an existing kitchen to industry standard. The Trade will enable the delivery of qualifications in Hospitality. The funding will be used for equipment and minor upgrades of the s' Agriculture, Automotive, Woods and Metals Technology existing infrastructure. The Trade Training Centre will enable the delivery of Automotive Electrical Technology, Furniture Making (Cabinet Making), General Construction (Carpentry Framework/Formwork/Finishing), Engineering Mechanical Trade, Engineering Fabricator Trade and Agriculture. Funds will be used to upgrade existing facilities at University of Ballarat TAFE in the areas of Hairdressing, Building and Construction (Carpentry and Plumbing) and Automotive, upgrade existing facilities at Longerenong in the areas of Agriculture and Engineering and construct a new industry standard facility at Horsham which will deliver training in the areas of Commercial Cookery, Electrotechnology, Hairdressing and Furniture and Cabinet Making. The funding will be used for major capital works and fit out, including equipment, for a state of the art Trade to deliver targeted vocational training in traditional trades and emerging skills in demand in Northern Melbourne. Students will be able to enrol in Certificate III qualifications in Building and Construction, Automotive trades, Electro technology and Horticulture. In addition, the funds will also redevelop an existing Engineering centre. Parade will establish a large multi purpose Trade and resource it to undertake recognised industry training in a variety of areas identifiable as skill shortages.
