2 PERAGO360 Trust and Innovation in Business Critical Solutions Traditional IT implementations have been hampered by the inability to execute in a short time frame. With the advent of ubiquitous computing, made possible through service orientated architecture (SOA) standards and paradigms, it has become possible to provide a framework of common services as well as an open, standards based platforms which can accommodate multiple systems, whether legacy or new. These systems can all benefit from the common services which these framework offer as well as shared services across the applications spectrum. Instead of creating systemic silos and associated data pockets, systems can exist as a cohesive whole, making it possible to align business requirements with the technical capability of the customer.
3 The Solution Perago360 introduces a holistic approach to service orientated architecture, enabling organizations to converge traditionally disparate integration efforts and practices through a common set of products, tools and best practices. Based on best-in-class technology, Perago360 combines common graphical tooling, repository, deployment, execution and monitoring capabilities, allowing organizations to rapidly take advantage of more applications and data resources than ever before. Natural User Interface The user interface is designed to feel as natural as possible to the user. The Perago360 natural user interface creates a seamless interaction between human and machine, making the interface itself seem like an extension of the user. Business Process Manager The Perago business process manager module enables Perago business analysts and developers to model current processes, collaborate on improvements, and rapidly create and optimize processdriven solutions. Through its intuitive user interface, users can create process-based applications. The business process manager solution can easily integrate with other business process manager tools. It is based on BPEL and BPMN 2.0 standards. Business processes can also be imported and exported to other tools that support these standards. Software Configuration The tooling environment allows users to model, configure, test and deploy solutions that combine application and service development, data integration, data quality, application integration and business process management. This increases time to deployment by eliminating lengthy learning curves. Developers can quickly build integration jobs; data profiles; a master data hub; implement web services; data services; REST applications and messaging routes. Perago360 speeds development across complex, heterogeneous environments. The customer has the flexibility to configure business processes which are unique to their specific environments quickly and easily without having to embark on lengthy development and/or integration projects. Data Services With the Data Service Module, changes to your mission-critical data are automatically applied to every IT system in the enterprise. The Data Service component is code-free and contains a comprehensive library of adapters (over 450 pre-built), wizards, services and methods. The Data Service component is entirely based on open industry standards. Master Data Management In providing customers with a single repository with associated front end for all client or business data, the Master Data Management Module provides the flexibility to model, integrate and master any domain. The model drives all interactions with quality, workflow and data cleansing functions. The Master Data Management Module combines common graphical tooling, teamwork and management functions, allowing you to speed project delivery.
4 Business Intelligence The business Intelligence and Reporting Module is a business intelligence solution which provides a powerful data quality solution that delivers end-to-end profiling, cleansing, matching and monitoring capabilities with the ability to identify anomalies, standardize data, resolve duplicates and monitor data quality over time. The BI Module is fully OLAP compliant and has the ability to create cubes from which specific data can be extracted and reports drawn. These reports are highly customisable which allows the client to easily configure reports aligned with unique business requirements. Identity and Access Manager Providing Access, Authentication and Authorization to multiple back end systems via a single user interface, the Identity and Access Management Module makes it easy to interface with existing LDAP systems in order to facilitate single sign on. The Identity and Access Management Module can do this via a custom configured front end or alternately via an inherent system SWIFT Message Management The solution fully integrates with SWIFT network services (including, inter alia, SWIFTNet FIN, SWIFTNet Browse and SWIFT FileAct) using standard SWIFT message formatting. Both MT and MX message ranges are supported and the architecture is flexible enough to incorporate new formats when required without impact on core modules. Billing The billing module provides a general purpose extensible engine that interfaces with the Data Service component. This allows the generation of billing information from financial data records generated by internal or external systems using database or message interfaces. Monitoring Perago:360 provides a detailed view of all processes and data flows through the platform motoring module. The monitoring relies on standards such as JMX to provide statistics in a real time manner on the status of business transactions flowing through the perago:360 platform. Accounting The accounting module provides important account management and financial transaction functionality. The module is generic enough to support a wide variety of account types and generally accepted accounting principles are applied in the management and application of credit and debit transactions. Various parameters are available to ensure that accounts and related transactions fulfill client needs. Scheduler The scheduler forms the heartbeat of the solution and enables the service providers of the various core applications to set up specific daily events and timeframes. These events and time windows governs the financial environment according to the applicable industry policies and government legislation. Data Persistence Perago360 has an incumbent, standards based data persistence layer which provides a secure environment for the definition, creation, querying, update, and administration of data managing data and allowing for fast storage and retrieval of mission critical data. Perago360 encrypts all data before storing it in disparate databases.
