2 President s MESSAGE Dear members, This is a very special year for us at Southwest 66 Credit Union. This year we are celebrating 66 years of service, community engagement, and innovation, and we could not be in a better financial position than we are today. We want to thank our membership for their continual support and loyalty. Southwest 66 Credit Union would not be where it is today if it was not for our members. You, our members, are why we exist, we are a better credit union because of you. So much has been accomplished in 2014 for us to be proud of, and I want to highlight a few for you. In 2014 we announced Shared Branching, offering our members 5,000 locations nationwide. We have also launched a new ATM network, giving our members access to 30,000 ATMs nationwide. This means that you have more direct access to your money than the largest big banks provide. We introduced My Rewards Plus a debit rewards program. Awarding our member s points for every day check card transactions that can later be redeemed for merchandise, gift cards, travel and more. Being a Southwest 66 Credit Union member has never been this rewarding. We revamped our Southwest 66 website and improved navigation, functionality and compatibility. You will notice that our website performs 100% better on your mobile and tablet. Where ever you chose to access our website, at the comfort of your home, or on the go, you will experience a clean and easy to use site. Soon you will be able to experience your credit union like never before. The remodel to our facilities will give you a unique experience that will set our credit union apart from all other financial institutions in the Permian Basin. Minor details like an internet café, a coke machine with free sodas for our members, and a new service culture that will WOW you, will be apparent as soon as you step foot in our lobbies. We can not wait to share the new look and feel of your credit union. I want to share one last major accomplishment of Your credit union was recognized as Credit Union of the year. The Community Credit Union award honors credit unions that consistently excel in the advancement of credit union ideals, are proactive in their communities, and meet the needs of their own diverse member bases. Receiving this award from CUNA is a reflection of our commitment to our membership. In addition we have received an award for one of the highest member givebacks in the county, returning an average of $188 in savings to each member household. We could not be more proud of our board s leadership, our management team, and our staff for making a noticeable difference. We are far from perfect, but it is our goal to get better every day in the way we serve you, our members. The year of 2014 was an amazing year, and we want to give you a little sneak peak of what is coming in Remote deposit capture, giving you the ability to deposit your checks via your mobile device, 24 hour loan approvals, and many others. 3 BUILDING A BETTER C REDIT UNION Work In Progress Over the past few months, you may have seen work in progress at the Southwest 66 branches. Perhaps it has sparked your curiosity to know more about what is in store. We are pleased to present these artist s renderings of the remodel as well as some in progress images of the branch on 52nd. A Few Goals A few of the goals these renovations will achieve: Create a bright, handsome lobby area which will promote a new service culture which will WOW you! 66 Kid s club, a place for your children to play while you enjoy a state of the art credit union experience! Cafe 66 with free coffee and sodas! The Southwest 66 branch on University Blvd. will include the same renovations as the 52nd branch! We want you to be proud to call Southwest 66 your credit union! We re adding a history wall that will highlight the rich history of Southwest 66 to each branch! We are excited to be able to improve our facilities and help you have the best experience possible. We couldn t do it without you! When finished, our new teller pods will give your branch visit a more personal touch. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the renovations, and thank you for your continued commitment to Southwest 66 Credit Union. Cafe 66 provies members with complimentary coffe and sodas!
