Dashboard The Dashboard rolls up all of the most critical and frequently used information and tools into one convenient location and can be accessed by clicking Community under CrossPublication on the left menu. Main features of the Dashboard include: 1. Featured CrossPublications 2. Reporting 3. Quick Search 4. Top CrossPublications 5. New CrossPublications To provide the fastest possible user experience, the data on this page is updated hourly rather than on each visit to the page. The date and time of the last update will appear in the top left corner of the page. To manually update the page, click the refresh button located there. Featured CrossPublications Featured CrossPublications are offers that have been carefully selected and represent some of the best offers available within the portal. Featured Offers appear along the top and right side of each page. Running any one of the Featured ed Offers is easy simply click the campaign s image from the top section or the button from the column to the right to be directed to the campaign application screen. For more information on this step, see Running CrossPublished Campaigns. DirectTrack CrossPublication Users Guide 9

Reporting The reporting section provides the ability to view the performance of your CrossPublished campaigns at a glance in a convenient collapsible pane. You may choose to show or hide this pane on each page load by clicking the or button, respectively. Within this pane are four instant reports: 1. Overall Statistics this data table sums the impressions, leads, clicks, number of sales, sales amount, and total revenue. 2. Overall Revenue by Day this line graph displays the trends in total revenue earned over the last 30 days for offers that you have CrossPublished (as the parent) or are running (as the child). 3. Revenue by Parent Campaign - this line graph shows the revenue earned over the last 30 days for offers that you have CrossPublished (as the parent). 4. Revenue by Child Network this line graph depicts the total revenue earned over the last 30 days for offers CrossPublished from other networks which you are running (as the child). Clicking a node on each of the line graphs opens a detailed view of the report, including data tables that break down the offers by type (parent/child/all) and revenue by day. A link is also provided to Your CrossPublication Stats by Network located within Statistics/Reports in the Campaign Management section of your DirectTrack account. This report retrieves affiliate and banner ID, IP Address, Date, Referrer, and any optional information elected for use in the tracking URL for a selected CrossPublished offer during a specified date range. 15 Quick Search The Quick Search does just that it provides the opportunity to perform a search without navigating to the search page. Search options include keyword which uses wildcards to search on the campaign name and description, as well as searching using campaign type. Searching from the quick search provides the same results as a full search from the search page. Additionally, the quick search remembers the last two searches performed from the dashboard and lists them as links to the right of the search fields. Simply click on the links to rerun that search using the those search options. Figure 9: Quick Search Top CrossPublications and New CrossPublications The Top CrossPublications and New CrossPublication sections showcase some of the highlights of the CrossPublication Portal, and round out the Dashboard. Each section displays up to five offers at a time and provides key information about those offers the offer name, publisher, payout, description, and the ability to run the campaign. Top CrossPublications also list EPC, or Earnings per Click and are sorted in descending order using this metric. To view additional Top CrossPublications or New CrossPublications, click the More link at the bottom of each section. DirectTrack CrossPublication Users Guide 11

CrossPublished Campaign Management Since CrossPublication is integrated into DirectTrack, you can change the details of a CrossPublished campaign in the Child Network by changing the campaign settings in your copy of DirectTrack. When changing information about a campaign that has been CrossPublished, only the Campaign Status, Approved Subject Lines, and End Date fields can be changed in the Child Network. If the Campaign Status of a campaign is set to an inactive status (Inactive or Deleted), then the corresponding campaign is set to Inactive in the Child Network. The Child Network is then ed and the parent network cannot reactivate the campaign in the Child Network. In the case of a change to the End Date field, the campaign in the Child Network is updated and the owner of the Child Network is notified. When the Approved Subject Lines are updated in the Parent Network, each Child Network is simply updated. Updates to the Suppression List or Campaign Terms of a CrossPublished campaign will automatically carry through to the Child Networks with no notification made to the Child Network. If the Parent Network is using DNEList to manage their suppression list, the affiliates of each Child Network will have access to the DNEList suppression list and unsubscribe links. Adjusting the affiliate payout for a Child Network from the Parent Network for a CrossPublished campaign will automatically trigger a notification to the Child Network, informing them that their payout for the CrossPublished campaign has changed. This will not make any changes to any of the payouts in the Child Network. Do-It-Direct Modifying CrossPublications 1. Click on My Campaigns under CrossPublication in the left menu 2. Click on the Modify tab at the top of the page 3. Choose the CrossPublished campaign you wish to modify from the drop-down list and click on Modify 4. The campaign s CrossPublication details page is displayed. Make any necessary changes to the information. 5. Click CrossPublish to save your changes. Note: Modifying a CrossPublication only changes how the CrossPublished campaign is displayed to DirectTrack clients. This does not alter the campaign itself, nor the campaign in any Child Network that may be running it. DirectTrack CrossPublication Users Guide 15

Do-It-Direct Removing or Deactivating CrossPublications 1. Click on My Campaigns under CrossPublication in the left menu 2. Click on the Remove tab at the top of the page 3. By default, a list of all CrossPublished campaigns appears. Figure 13: Selecting CrossPublications for removal and/or deactivation. Tip: This list can be filtered using the tools at the top of the page to include only a subset of any combination of a single network, campaign or campaign status and clicking Display Selected Campaigns to activate the filters. 4. Select specific CrossPublications that should be removed or deactivated by: a. Selecting individual campaigns using the checkboxes b. Selecting all campaigns on the current page (if there are multiple result pages) using the Check All buttons in the column headings c. Click Remove/Inactivate Selected OR Select ALL for removal or removal and deactivation by clicking the corresponding buttons. 5. Click OK in the confirmation pop-up to finally delete your CrossPublication. DirectTrack CrossPublication Users Guide 16

Note: Removing a CrossPublication will only remove it from the CrossPublication section of DirectTrack. Choosing to remove a campaign from CrossPublication will not change the original campaign in your system, change the CrossPublished campaign in any Child Network, or make tracking cease to function for any Child Networks. By specifying that you wish to make the campaign inactive, the campaign will be deactivated in grandchild networks. Note: If you have CrossPublished a campaign to "All" and then CrossPublished the same campaign to an individual Network, removing the "All" entry will not remove the entry from the individual Network. Conversely, removing a campaign from an individual Network when you have also CrossPublished the same campaign to "All" will not remove the "All" entry. Adding and Updating Creatives There is no special procedure for adding or updating creatives for a CrossPublished campaign. To add or update creatives, visit the campaign s information page under Campaign Management > Campaigns, selecting the campaign to which you would like to manipulate creatives and click Modify Creatives. Any creative added is automatically added to the Child Network, and any creative changed is updated in the Child Network. For more information on adding creatives, see the documentation in the Help section of your DirectTrack Admin interface. Removing Clicks, Leads and Sales For a CrossPublished campaign, a Parent Network can remove clicks and leads from the Remove Clicks/Leads tab in the Fraud Management section of DirectTrack. Sales are removed from Manage Sales in the Modify Statistics tab in the Statistics/Reports section of DirectTrack. When a sale is removed, the corresponding sale in the Child Network is automatically removed and the Child Network is notified. When a click or lead is removed, the Child Network is notified that they need to remove the appropriate number of clicks and leads from their affiliates. DirectTrack CrossPublication Users Guide 17
