You are to be in the classroom 5 minutes before start of class. If you are late you will lose phone privileges for at least one day. No food or drinks in classroom. Causing a disturbance or disrespect shown towards teachers or other residents (sleeping, talking, bathroom going, being late etc.) are grounds for breach or dismissal from the program. 4 Work and School Looking for work or schooling is not allowed until your sixth month. If you want to look for work, school or living accommodations and the courts allow and we feel you re ready we will sit down with you and arrange an appropriate schedule which will still include chores, classes and accountability. We will work with you and welfare to get the most help for you. If you plan to move out, come and discuss it with us. We are here to help. We know that everyone plans to move out sooner or later. We require one month s notice of moving. When you move, take your belongings with you. If you choose not to take your property, it will be held for 14 days, after which time it will be disposed of. We are not responsible for any loss of possessions at any time. Cost When you pay your own room and board the cost is $580/month. We expect it to be paid regularly, on the first of the month. If you are on Welfare, they will pay us directly for your room and board. You will receive a monthly allowance directly from them. We have a special worker; therefore do not call them on your own, as it will disrupt the system. YOU MUST REPORT ALL INCOME TO WELFARE. Anything over $200/month will be deducted from your room and board payment to us, which you will have to make up and pay yourself. Any welfare fraud will be reported and you will be dismissed from the program. Not paying your own room and board, in a timely manner, if you are responsible for that is grounds for dismissal or breach. Room and Board payments are non-refundable, even if you leave part way through a paid month. We are here to help you in any way to start a new life. As resident staff lives here we are available 24 hours a day if necessary. We only ask that you be straightforward and honest in your dealings with us and follow these rules. If you agree to these rules, we expect you to follow them and don t complain about them later. You may be dismissed, breached, grounded extra time, or have phone privileges taken away for any breaking of the rules. Signing of these rules does not constitute or imply acceptance into the program. I understand and agree to all the rules and the attached schedule.
