VIEW-PACK products are a range of fully peelable, virtually fibre free pouches and reels together with self seal and plain top closure bags. An intrinsic element of this packaging is based on new film technology. Conventional films used in most hospital pouches and reels have low resistance to tear which results in poor aseptic presentation of the packs contents. The VIEW-PACK film was specifically designed to eradicate this major weakness that exists in ordinary pouches and reels. The impact strength of this film is 10 times greater than ordinary film and thus the occurance of shattering can be virtually eliminated. The products are for use in the sterilisation of instruments and medical devices. The pouches and reels are used as the bags with the benefit of a transparent front (which allows visual identification of the contents) and medical grade white sterilisation paper to the back. The products are available in ready-made pouch form or in reels to enable the user to cut lengths to suit any requirement. Both pouches and reels are available in flat or gussetted forms suitable for steam, EO gas or formaldehyde sterilisation.
