6 COOL Auto operation Ensure the unit is plugged in and power is available The OPERATI indicator on the display panel of the indoor unit illuminates Press the button to select Auto Press the TEMP button to set the desired temperature The temperature can be set O O O O within a range of C( F)~ 0 C( F) in O O C/ F increments Press the /button to start the air conditioner NOTE In the Auto mode, the air conditioner can logically choose the mode of Cooling, Fan, Heating and Dehumidifying by sensing the difference between the actual ambient room temperature and the setting temperature on the remote controller In the Auto mode, you can not switch the fan speed It has already been automatically controlled If the Auto mode is not comfortable for you, the desired mode can be selected manually Cooling /Heating/Fan operation Ensure the unit is plugged in and power is available Press the button to select COOL, HEAT, (cooling & heating models only) or FAN mode Press the TEMP buttons to set the desired temperature The temperature can be set O O O O within a range of C( F)~ 0 C( F) in O O C/ F increments Press the button to select the fan speed in four steps- Auto, Low, Med,or High Press the / button to start the air conditioner NOTE In the FAN mode, the setting temperature is not displayed in the remote controller and you are not able to control the room temperature either In this case, only step, and may be performed DRY DRY Dehumidifying operation Ensure the unit is plugged in and power is available The OPERATI indicator on the display panel of the indoor unit illuminates Press the button to select DRY mode Press the TEMP buttons to set the desired temperature The temperature can be set O O O O within a range of C( F)~ 0 C( F) in O O C/ F increments Press the / button to start the air conditioner NOTE In the Dehumidifying mode, you can not switch the fan speed It has already been automatically controlled Adjusting air flow direction Use the and buttons to adjust the Up/Down airflow direction When press the button, the o horizontal louver will move at an angle of Keep pressing the button to move the louver to the desired position Press the button, the horizontal louver would swing up/down automatically Press it again to stop NOTE: When the louver swing or move to a position which would affect the cooling and heating effect of the air conditioner, it would automatically change the swing/ moving direction 0

7 RESET SPEED F/C Timer operation button Press the button as required The current timer setting is displayed alongside either the or indicator, and will flash Buttons Press to set the desired time Forward Backward Each time you push these buttons, the time moves forward or backward by 0 minutes depending on which direction you press The time alters as quickly as you press the button After setting the timer for and, check the indicator on the display panel of the indoor unit is illuminated Canceling Cancel button() Press the button to cancel the timer setting Changing Preform steps, and to change the settings CAUTIS When you select the timer operation, the remote controller automatically transmits the timer signal to the indoor unit at the specified time Therefore, keep the remote controller in a location from which it can transmit the signal to the indoor unit properly The effective operation time set by remote controller is limited in hours On Off :00 Stop :00 Start Example of Timer setting (Timer Start Operation) The feature is useful when you want the unit to turn on automatically before you return home The air conditioner will automatically start operating at the set time IMPORTANT: The time will be registered in seconds period (after pressing the button), so you should continue pressing the button until the desired time is established Otherwise you must repeat the steps again Example: To start the air conditioner at :00 am Press the button, the indicator is displayed and the setting time beside is flashing(if the displayed time is just :00, seconds later, the function will be activated automatically) Use the TEMP/TIME button to display ":00" beside the indicator of the remote controller Wait for seconds and the setting time stops flashing and this function is activated (Timer Stop Operation) The feature is useful when you want the unit to turn off automatically after you go to bed The air conditioner will stop automatically at the set time Example: To stop the air conditioner at :00 pm Press the button until the indicator is displayed and the setting time beside is flashing (if the displayed time is just :00, seconds later, the function will be activated automatically) Use the button to display ":00" beside the indicator This function will be activated seconds after you release the button

8 On Start Stop :00 :00 Start Off Stop :00 :00 COMBINED (Setting both and timers simultaneously) (On Stop Start operation) This feature is useful when you want to stop the air conditioner after you go to bed, and start it again in the morning when you wake up or when you return home Example: Now it is 0:00 o'clock in the evening You want to stop the air conditioner at :00 and start it again at :00 in the next morning Press the button until the indicator is displayed and time setting is flashing Use the TEMP/TIME button to display ":00" beside the indicator Wait seconds, and the - time will be registered Press the button again to display the Use the TEMP/TIME button to display ":00" on the display Wait seconds until the setting time stops flashing and this function is activated (Off Start Stop operation) This feature is useful when you want to start the air conditioner before you wake up and stop it after you leave the house Example: To start the air conditioner at :00 the next morning, and stop it at :00 Press the button, the indicator is displayed and the setting time is flashing Use the TEMP/TIME button to display ":00" beside the indicator of the remote controller Wait seconds, the - time will be registered Press the button again to display the indicator and the setting time Use the TEMP/TIME button to display ":00" beside the indicator 5 Wait seconds until the setting time stops flashing and this function is activated COOL operation When you press the button, the energysaving function will be activated This function enables the unit to automatically O O increase(cooling) or decrease(heating) C/ F per hour for the first two hours, then hold steady for the next 5 hours, after that the unit will stop operation It can maintain the most comfortable temperature and save energy NOTE: The function is only available under Cooling, Heating and operations
