1 PEACHTREE WIND ENSEMBLE The Southern Crescent s Community Band Peachtree Wind Ensemble has served as the Southern Crescent's community band since 1991, offering musicians and the community opportunities to enjoy music together in and around Peachtree City, Ga.

2 Peachtree Wind Ensemble The Southern Crescent s Community Band Peachtree Wind Ensemble is a non-auditioning community concert band that rehearses and performs in and around Peachtree City, Ga. Its members come from all professions and include amateur musicians, music professionals, and those returning to music. Together we share a passion for music and believe that a community rich in the arts, flourishes. PLAY Peachtree Wind Ensemble is open to musicians ages 18 and older. The only requirement is a love for music. Our 50-member ensemble rehearses on Monday nights from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church & School, 700 Ardenlee Parkway, Peachtree City, Ga. Rehearsals run 11 months out of the year with breaks during summer vacation and winter holidays. The ensemble performs concerts a year in Fayette & Coweta Counties, and also plays joint concerts with the Point University Community Band in West Point, Ga. Musicians interested in joining may visit our website or contact us at for more information and to confirm rehearsal dates and times. LISTEN Our large and varied repertoire, suitable for the entire family, is selected to encourage listener involvement and encompasses the finest of classical to contemporary music. Under the direction of Mike Daniell, the Peachtree Wind Ensemble performs marches, show tunes, jazz, classical / symphonic adaptations for band, Broadway and modern pop-style tunes. Seasonal songs are frequently heard, as are innovative compositions from modern composers. Peachtree Wind Ensemble offers full concert programs, small ensemble performances, and individual musicians to augment local musical groups. SCHEDULE A PERFORMANCE Peachtree Wind Ensemble is ideal for large community events such as festivals, art shows, church barbeques, and holiday gatherings. The ensemble performs free of charge, or sometimes suggests donations to cover marketing and travel costs. This packet includes information on our music directors, and our past and present programs. Additionally, our complete repertoire is listed on our website. If you are interested in scheduling a performance, please contact us at 1
