2 Discover new horizons with Spectroquant Pharo There are virtually no limits to the opportunities opened up to you by the two new Spectroquant Pharo 100 and 300 spectrophotometers, since they combine the advantages of a system photometer on the one hand and the versatility of a spectrophotometer on the other. All options are available to you when it comes to selecting applications regardless of whether you wish to program your own methods, measure concentrations or absorbances, record spectra and kinetic profiles, or perform multiwavelength measurements. The new spectrophotometers lend you support in performing GLP-compliant operations and additionally provide all the advantages of the established Spectroquant system. A convincing range of test kits... Irrespective of whether you re working on drinking water or wastewater, investigating beverages, or monitoring disinfection procedures: over 150 tests offering different measuring ranges and citation forms from aluminium to zinc are available for routine use. No Large-format display: Besides making it easy to read off the measurement result, the display also enables you to make detailed graphic evaluations clearly laid out and functionally efficient. Comprehensive instrument-supported quality assurance: Merck doesn t only supply certified standards for checking instruments and methods Spectroquant Pharo also supports you in the evaluation of results: it automatically signals whether the measured value lies within the specified tolerances. What s more, the user manager tool (administrator, user, guest) can immediately shows who made the measurement. Flexible areas of application: In combination with a wide range of cell formats, the inexpensive Spectroquant reagent tests make it possible to select variable measuring ranges, right down to the ppb range. AutoSelector with bar code: The supplied AutoSelector enables methods to be automatically selected, even in connection with the reagent tests. User-friendly cell tests: The bar code printed on the cell ensures that the correct method is selected automatically mistakes are fully excluded. Almost all reagents required for the analysis are already contained in the cells. Intuitive menu navigation: Where is which command hidden? The simple menu structure, context-specific function keys, and an integrated pop-up index selector means that tedious search routines are a thing of the past. The alphanumeric keyboard is just as easy to operate as the buttons of a cellphone.

5 Automatic cell identification: No matter whether you re using a 16 mm round cell or a 10, 20 or 50 mm rectangular cell in combination with the AutoSelector: all types of cell are automatically identified by the Spectroquant Pharo and the correct measuring range is selected accordingly. No time-consuming search for the matching adaptor, no more errors when entering the correct method number mistakes are fully excluded. Instrument protection: Protective drain-off channels in the optics compartments prevent any contact between the liquid sample and the optical and electronic components. Timer: Up to four method timers and one free timer mean that you no longer have to waste time looking round for the stopwatch. Freedom of choice in transferring data: One RS 232 and two USB ports leave no wish open. For the printer, for a direct connection to the PC, or cableless data transfer via USB stick everything s possible.
