4 AGENDA FOR THE THIRD MEETING OF THE WORKING GROUP ON INTERNATIONAL CLASSIFICATIONS (GTCI) August 8 th, 2014 (1 day) Bogota, Colombia 9: * GTCI STEERING COMMITTEE 1. Reflection on whether or not to make another effort to invite the Caribbean countries to participate in the GTCI. "St. Lucia will serve as a liaison with the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the UN could possibly attend the next meeting of that body in October on behalf of the Steering Committee of the GTCI, in order to promote the work of the GTCI in the countries of the region. The Steering Committee will consider whether it is possible to perform a second round of invitations to Caribbean countries to integrate the GTCI, but also needs to review funding issues". 2. Determining a forum administrator to provide answers on specific ISIC and CPC questions (i.e., someone in charge of reviewing the questions and answers and of determining the correct answer). "Chile stated that sometimes the answers in the forum cause uncertainty because different NSO provide different answers to the same questions. Chile will discuss with the ECLAC in order to find out what can be done to access and systematize the questions posted in the forum to reach final answers and how to display them to the forum. In this respect the following ideas emerged: design a questions and answers format, appoint an administrator for the selection and classification of questions and answers, and study how the GTCI could obtain feedback from the "model" UN Forum ". 3. Review the work plan and program. 4. Strategy to obtain funding for the next face-to-face meetings. 5. Development and review of the meeting s report. Agreements.
5 6. Define general topics for the next meeting. 7. Planning for the next videoconference. 8. Establish a probable date for the next face-to-face meeting. * Daily breaks: 11:00 to 11:15 and 15:00 to 15:15. * Lunch: 12:30 to 13:30.
