Family Medical Clinic), David Pump (Peak Vista), Jeff Spicher (UCCS), Anna Vigran, (Colorado Health Institute) The meeting was called to order at 5:40 p.m. Welcome and Introductions: The Performance Improvement Advisory Committee introduced themselves and welcomed all participants. Colorado Medicaid s Accountable Care Collaborative: Strategic Vision and Community Discussion Kathryn Jantz: Colorado Health Institute and the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing presented an overview of their Medicaid Accountable Care Collaborative (ACC)/Regional Care Collaborative Organization (RCCO) goals and strategy. ACC work is focused on three core elements: o Transforming our systems from a medical model to a health model. o Moving toward person-centered, integrated and coordinated supports and o services. Leveraging efficiencies to provide better quality care at lower costs to more people. Colorado s ACC model is to provide a Statewide Data and Analytics Contractor (SDAC), Primary Care Medical Providers (PCMPs) and RCCOs for the patients.
2 The five-point strategic plan is: o Delivery system redesign o State administrative improvement o Technology for implementation and evaluation o Payment reform o Benefit design The next phase of the ACC strategic plan and development of the next Request for Proposals (RFP) for the RCCOS were discussed. Statements and questions from those attending were discussed. Please see the attached presentation for more detail. Public Comment: The Performance Improvement Advisory Committee had no other comments to be addressed.
