VISION Through the years, BBRmodels has established itself as a leading company in the market for special limited production and handmade model cars: a success story developed over time, founded on the unique quality of our products and a commitment to constant research, continuously following the latest innovations on the international automobile scene for highway and competition vehicles.vast experience in the research and design of extremely innovative solutions and processes, whilst remaining true to the spirit of handcrafting, represents the perfect union for the creation of exclusive models, designed especially for enthusiasts seeking one off pieces. 30 years STORY Passion and innovation, tradition and future: the fundamental elements which, in nearly thirty years of history, have led BBRmodels to become the leading brand for collectors throughout the world. BBRmodels was created almost as a bet halfway through the 1980s in a small laboratory, from the passion and creativity of three friends: Balestrini, Barberis, Reali. Their models immediately met with great success amongst collectors, and a rapid increase in demand made it necessary to expand the company in order to dedicate sufficient space and resources to the development of each stage of production. Continuous investment in research ensured the company achieved the highest levels of quality and was awarded the first of many prestigious international acknowledgements, including the Modell des Jahres by the German magazine Model Fan. The company s success was subsequently confirmed by collaborations with the most important car manufacturers for the reproduction of highway and competition models. BBR is the official supplier for many renowned brands, including Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Porsche, Fiat, Pagani and Ferrari. Following the special collaboration with the Maranello factory which began in 1987, models were created of all Cavallino highway vehicles and F1s, the winners of numerous world championships. In 2005, with the production of the Ferrari Enzo model car, the new High End line of BBRmodels was born: limited edition die cast 1:18 scale models, with an extraordinary level of detail. Each archetype can be entirely opened and consists in over 800 pieces. In 2009 it was time for the Project 18 line: special 1:18 scale model cars in resin and metal, with limited edition production and superior detail definition achieved through the application of know-how and technological evolutions already developed for 1:43 scale models. On 2014 we are going to develop a new scale, the 1/12, with incredible details and finishing. A new challenge for BBR models It s already been three decades that, in a small laboratory of Saronno, we started this journey. Over time, then, our passion has turned in a job giving life to what we can now define as our little masterpiece. We want to dedicate this goal to all of our fans and supporters who always collect our models, thus contributing to make BBR Models a unique brand and a worldwide leader.
