Payroll Specialist Enters data necessary for the preparation, processing, and distribution of the firm's hourly and salaried payrolls. 16. Billing Specialist Receives, assembles, and produces client-billing statements in conformity with firm policies and conventions. Reviews general ledger postings arising from bill edit and corrects errors. Provides audit request information or client statistics for attorneys. 17. Billing Supervisor/Manager Oversee the general operations of billing activities. Responsible for the planning, supervision, and coordination of firm client billing activities. Oversees the posting of cash receipts. Monitors attorney time postings. Compiles data and prepares statistical reports for internal and external reporting. 18. Collections Specialist Responsible for the review, monitoring, and reporting of all delinquent and aging client accounts to ensure that established firm guidelines are met. Prepares and distributes reminder letters on delinquent accounts receivable to clients. 19. Collections Supervisor/Manager Oversee the general operations of collections department. Responsible for the planning, supervision, and coordination of firm clients accounts receivable activities. Monitors client intake process for effective risk management. Utilizes computer to input, retrieve or display accounting information. Undergraduate degree or related experience required. 23. General Accounting Manager Manages the firm's general accounting functions and the preparation of reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profits, cash and draw balances, and other financial results. Oversees payroll, accounts payable, and other related accounting activities. Reviews budgets and expense variance reports. 24. Controller Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of all financial data and provides financial reports required by firm management and regulatory and rating agencies. Directs and controls the cost accounting, general accounting and budgeting factions. Directs internal audits. 25. Human Resources Coordinator 26. Human Resources Generalist Assists with the administration of a variety of human resources functions that may include benefits, time and attendance, leave accruals, employee activities and events, data entry, etc. Performs one or more of the following human resources generalist functions duties: staff recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and retention activities. 27. Benefits Manager Plans, organizes, and supervises the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Firm's benefit plans and programs. 28. Human Resources Manager Responsible for personnel matters to include hiring, new employee orientation, assignments, performance management, employee records, and employee relations. May be responsible for departmental management such as receptionists, Word Processing Manager or Recruiting Manager. Page 5

Administers training programs on technology systems and software applications and new-hire training in both one-on-one and classroom format. Manages, plans, designs, coordinates and supervises all technology training programs for the firm. Has direct supervision of all Trainers. Provides audiovisual support in meetings and seminars, assist staff and attorneys in scheduling, training, and performing Video Conference calls. Create and digitize video in varying formats. Help Desk Analyst Serves as first level support for customers with technology problems; documents, categorizes and assesses support calls; takes appropriate corrective actions; and escalates the problem as required. 35. Desktop Support Technician 36. Applications Support Analyst Responsible for the support of desktop technology hardware, including desktop computers, laptops, docking stations, printers and peripherals. Works closely with the Help Desk for problem tracking and reporting. Responsible for general level two software support of all LAN and PC software applications. May be individually responsible for one or more specific LAN applications such as document management or time and billing with responsibilities including initial software installation and configuration plus on-going testing and loading of enhancements and upgrades. Works closely with the Help Desk for problem tracking and reporting. 37. Network Engineer Responsible for all operational aspects of the computer network including desktop (hardware) and printer support, server hardware and software support, general software applications support, network security, network backup and restore, internal and external systems and interfaces, network and server performance monitoring, WAN connectivity and software distribution. Supervises IT technicians. Page 6

Telecom Analyst/ Technician Responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of systems, which may include phone, voic , personal pager, audio-visual, PDA s, cellular phones and paging systems. Manages the telephone switch and voice mail systems, performing changes and maintenance on each. 39. IS Operations Manager Plans, manages and controls the activities of computer operations, exclusive of the systems and programming function. Develops and establishes department standards and procedures, and assigns work to the operations staff. Provided leadership and technical guidance regarding client/server infrastructure including standards, policies and procedures. 40. Database Administrator Manages and support all aspects of database technology for the firm including: designing and ensuring database integrity and security; managing all aspects of database backup and restore; logical and physical database design; database and server performance monitoring and tuning; evaluation of database management systems and tool sets; and development of database standards and procedures. 41. Marketing/Client Services Coordinator Coordinates specific marketing and business development activities for the Marketing Department. Assists the Director of Marketing with execution of marketing functions under his/her direction and manages smaller marketing projects independently. 42. Events Coordinator Coordinates specific firm activities and special events. Usually part of the Marketing Department, but could report to Conference Services or Human Resources. 43. Marketing/Client Services Manager Coordinates the marketing activity for a local office and serves as marketing manager for that location. Works closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to implement the overall Firm marketing strategy and execute tactical programs. Promotes the sale of the organization s services in the media, purchases advertising, organizes public relations programs, disseminates press releases and maintains contacts with the media. 44. Library Assistant Performs clerical services including routing of publications, shelving, preparing invoices for payment, maintenance of collection, and subscription renewals. This position may include clerks or assistants called library mail clerk, technical services clerk, interlibrary loan clerk, or billing clerk. 45. Reference Librarian Performs a variety of reference work including sophisticated research requests. Position requires a Masters in Library Science (MLS), JD, or equivalent advanced degree. Page 7

Records Clerk Under direct supervision, manually or electronically tracks location of files. Understand storage purpose and procedures. Processes incoming client and attorney/departmental administrative files. 48. Records Coordinator Responsible for maintaining files, records and records management program. Coordinates day-today work and provides training and orientation for all new staff. Coordinates adherence to retention and destruction policies. 49. Records Manager Responsible for the daily operations of the Records Center. Coordinates the timely delivery of files from storage, maintenance of records management database, inactive storage procedures, and the security and preservations of records sent to storage. May function as a working supervisor. 50. Conflicts Analyst Responsible for conflict checking processes and procedures and providing conflict research on all incoming client matters including the review of all data and report creation. 51. Conflicts Coordinator Responsible for coordinating the workflow of the conflict checking process. Understands the conflict checking purpose and procedures, assists in the development of training programs. Explains conflict forms and procedures to attorneys, paralegals and other staff. 52. Conference Services Attendant 53. Conference Services Supervisor/Manager Performs daily kitchen and conference rooms duties to include setting up food/beverages/audio-visual equipment, and maintaining cleanliness. Ensures conference rooms are provided with appropriate supplies and may perform minor maintenance services throughout the conference center. Coordinates meetings and events held both on and off firm premises. Manages the day-to-day activities of the conference center including the booking of conference rooms, making arrangements for catering, audio/visual set-ups, etc. 54. Maintains records on postage, registration of mail and outgoing packages. May be used to deliver packages as part of in house courier service. Administers day-to-day office services activities. Coordinates activities such as the mailroom, copy center, facsimile center, messenger services, office supplies and general purchasing requests. Arranges for office moves and coordinates some office maintenance services such as furniture maintenance and small office repairs. May also be responsible for equipment purchase and maintenance. Under general supervision, performs clerical duties, which are billed to the client under the direction of a paralegal or attorney. May include billing, filing, indexing deposition summaries, posting docket entries, and preparing documents. 59. Paralegal I Under general supervision of an attorney, performs a range of substantive case-related duties. Must demonstrate an understanding of complex legal issues, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have excellent organizational skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure while meeting critical timelines. Paralegal Supervisor/ Manager Under general supervision, is responsible for monitoring paralegal/legal assistant usage and productivity on a daily basis. Prepares staffing plans and budgets and coordinates special staffing for projects/cases. Directs the development and implementation of orientation, training, and continuing education. Takes an active role in selection, performance management, and compensation recommendations. Regularly interfaces with partners and law firm executives. 64. Patent Agent Reviews materials and literature to determine the possibility of patent grants on inventions and trademarks, and also the possibility of infringements. Prepares and files recommended patent applications and trademark registrations, litigates pending applications and registrations, including appeals and infringement. Four-year college degree and successful completion of the patent bar. 65. Litigation Support Analyst/Specialist Provides technology support for litigation case management end-users. Develops litigation technology solutions to meet client s needs for litigation case management, e-discovery and trial presentations. 66. Docketing Clerk Performs docketing tasks for the Trademark and Patent departments, including opening all mail, tracking deadlines in database, maintaining docket calendar, and responsible for maintaining patent and trademark files. 67. Nurse Consultant/ Specialist Organizes and analyzes medical records, case files and other medical documents. Prepares chronologies of healthcare events and assists attorneys in developing case management and trial strategy. 68. Principal Administrator Directs the development and implementation of policy in the areas of finance, human resources and general administration with the firm. Supervises several administrators or managers who may have responsibility for human resources, finance, information technology, administration facilities, etc. May support a specific office or region. 69. Office Manager/Branch Office Manager Manages a broad range of administrative matters related to the firm operations. Coordinates policy and procedures with the appropriate main office or law firm leaders to insure that full and complete procedures are in place covering all assigned functions.
