The project will focus on the development of a pre-clinical model to test genetically modified human NK and T cells using the Sleeping Beauty transposon system for cancer therapy. Applicants must have an M.S., although a Ph.D. would be preferable, plus a strong background in immunology and molecular biology. A strong publication record is desirable. 3 Director of Hematologic Malignancies Massachusetts General Hospital Associate Professor or Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS) are seeking an exceptional leader to direct the Hematologic Malignancies Program at the MGH Cancer Center. The position involves clinical and academic oversight over a dedicated faculty, with active programs in all hematologic malignancies, housed in state of the art clinical facilities. The MGH Cancer Center provides integrated, patient-centered care for patients with all forms of malignancy, along with a centralized research protocol office, translational research core facilities, and basic science laboratories. Training and education include a joint medical oncology fellowship with the Dana-Farber/Brigham Cancer Center and research collaborations spanning across the Harvard-wide DF/HCC Cancer Center.
