The exterior is highlighted by a large protective front bumper, advanced aerodynamic cab design and sharklike gill accents in the rear corners.

7 First of all, we care about you 2.7 (J2) Diesel engine The improved 2,665 cc J2 engine is a normally aspirated unit which produces 80 ps (66 kw) at 4,000 rpm and 16.8 kg m (165 Nm) of torque at 2,400. It generates quiet, capable and economic efficiency. 3.0 (JT) Diesel engine The K3000S is equipped with a 2,956 cc JT engine which puts out 85 ps (63 kw) at 4,000 rpm and 18.5 kg m (181 Nm) of torque at 2,200 rpm, offering sufficient muscle power to haul the largest loads. The choice of diesel engines offers power, responsive acceleration, easy maintenance and durability perfectly matched to the needs and demands of city transportation or heavy duty use. Kia engineers carefully considered what a driver needs from a working vehicle, and these needs have been met right from the start of development with four engine options. The new turbo charged 2.5litre engine that pulls the K2500TCi provides good power and economy, and the 2.7litre J2 Diesel engine in the K2700 is a top performer, offering quiet and economical performance. The 3.0litre JT Diesel of the K3000S provides optimum power and torque, increasing your hauling capability, while the ecoefficient 2.9litre common rail diesel in the K2900CRDi is also a powerhorse. Mated with a smoothchanging and fuelefficient 5speed manual transmission, you have the powertrain to make light work of loads. Throughout you ll find enhanced convenience. The TACS (Time Alarm Control System) functions as a battery saver, parkingbrake start warning and dimming room lamp. The open semihood provides easy checking and refilling of fluids, and a twin outside view mirror features two faces to reduce blind spots. 2.5 (4D56) TCi engine 2.9 (J3) CRDi engine The 2,476 cc intercooled turbo charged engine of the K2500 pushes performance output to 94 ps (69 kw) at 3,800 rpm and 22.5 kg m (220 Nm) of torque at 2,000 rpm, enabling a maximum speed of up to 127 km / h. The most powerful engine in the range is the J3 engine (2,902 cc) in the K2900. This powerhouse puts out 125 ps (92 kw) at 3,800 rpm and 25 kg m (245 Nm) of torque at 1,500 ~ 3,200 rpm for maximum hauling capacity. Kseries truck

8 Strong and sturdy User selectable 4WD system Occupant safety is important, and Kseries truck has the features that make it a priority from the effecting braking system and 4WD to the inherent strength of the chassis and cabin WD system 2. Strengthened cabin Kia has looked at strength from every angle, and the Kseries truck offers excellent durability and safety that you d find on fullsized trucks as well as in passenger cars. Comprehensive structure analysis has led to an extended front overhang for enhanced resistance to frontal impact. A tighter cabin assembly fit projects a refined look and isolates components in the event of an accident A laddershaped chassis frame with double square beam maximizes the body s overall flexural rigidity. The Kseries truck equipped with 4WD to make it easier to cope with snow, sand and gravel and the Limited Slip Differential option will provide greater traction by transferring power to the wheels with most grip. CONCEPT The Kseries truck breaks new ground in truck driving, combining sturdy and powerful handling with the performance, ergonomics and prestige which were hitherto the exclusive domain of the passenger car segments. Leading the way in light commercial trucks this vehicle offers practicality to the flatbed rear, safety in is robust construction and braking, refinement in its driving characteristics and allround practicality centred around the needs of a driving day s work. DESIGN The clear and streamlined look illustrates the truck s sedanlike feeling inside. The character line of the cabin expands to the deck, forming a dynamic sense of volume with integrated front headlamps and aerodynamic face. The sleek interior design of the cluster and fascia, and the sculpted contours of the door trim offer resplendent comfort and attractiveness. Redesigned gears around the deck make the cargo bed as versatile and durable as possible. CONVENIENCE Buying a truck doesn t mean you can t be comfortable and enjoy the latest features available for cars: soft touch power steering wheel, tilt steering column and armrest power window switch. The compact and consolidated air control system provides enhanced efficiency while increasing legroom, with practical storage in the door trim, fascia and front centre seatback. For stable handling even when carrying heavy loads, the suspension is designed to hold the vehicle firmly to the road when cornering with the help of gas shock absorbers. To minimize engine noise and vibration, the engine mounting rubber is enlarged with a dual sealed lid on the engine room hole, with a tighter fit of panels in the cabin and more durable chassis to minimise engine vibration.
