To pursue research in neuropsychology, and ultimately to get into the Masters in Neuropsychology Benefits/experiences from doing Honours Developed independent research skills. Research resulted in a publication. Eligible to gain entry into the Masters in Neuropsychology course. Pathway after Honours Overseas travel for 1 year, and then completed Masters program. Then worked as a Clinical Neuropsychologist for many years. Started PhD in 2001.

6 Psychology Honours Available as an honours year in: BA(Hons), BSc(Hons), BBNSc(Hons), BPsych(Hons), BPsych&Bus, and a range of double degrees with BA or BSc components. Location Clayton, Sunway Duration 1 year full-time study or 2 years part-time study

7 Psychology Honours Eligibility Fees Completed undergraduate degree with a three-year APAC accredited major in Psychology Average of 70% minimum in core third-year psychology units Likely cut-off: 75% - 80% Commonwealth Supported Places (HECS) International full-fee

11 Behavioural Neuroscience Honours Entry requirements / Eligibility: Successful completion of the 3 year BBNSc undergraduate program A minimum of 70% across the 4 relevant third year units, e.g. BNS3021, BNS3052, BNS3062, PHY3111 for Advanced Behavioural Neuroscience; PSY3041, PSY3051, PSY3032, PSY3062 for Psychology Honours

12 Careers for BBNSc (Hons) graduates Prepared for productive research careers in neuroscience, psychology, or the biomedical sciences (depending on your particular specialisation)** Professional Careers in Psychology (if Psychology Honours completed)** Further postgraduate study and related careers, e.g. graduate medicine, Masters in genetic counselling, etc. **In most cases students will need further accredited professional qualifications or a higher degree
