3 CLOUDPORT Cloud-Based Edge Playout Platform CLOUDPORT, Amagi s cloud-based edge playout platform is designed to seamlessly integrate with existing systems and workflows of TV Networks to power a playout that is as robust and secure as traditional satellite / fibre models, but more flexible and cost-effective. A comprehensive playlist based on ingested content is created through CLOUDPORT s sophisticated, web-based playout management suite. The relevant content is then pushed on to the edge servers installed at various headends, across multiple geographic regions through a secure cloud network.
