14 Safety glass Magnetic slat Elastomer seals DP active coating The safety glass used in aquaform products is hardened glass. It is characterised by much higher resistance to mechanical shock and differences in temperature than normal glass of comparable thickness. In the event that it is knocked out, safety glass breaks up into small pieces with blunt edges. The magnetic slat is used in closing systems on the doors of aquaform enclosures. It increases the watertightness of the enclosure by making it easier to close the door properly and prevents it from opening by itself. Top class seals are used in aquaform products. They guarantee that shower enclosures will be watertight and durable. Elastomer seals do not crumble or change colour, and are resistant to permanent impurities. They are characterised by transparent finishing and an aesthetic appearance. DP active is a technologically advanced polymer coating. When applied to a glass surface it evens and smooths it. The DP active layer makes it difficult for water droplets to stick, which limits limescale and dirt deposits. More about DP active on page 17. Legs and supports enable shower trays to be secured stably and evenly. The height of the legs can be adjusted, which is vital when levelling, and the supports allow the edges of the tray to be fitted perfectly to the bathroom walls. In the marked aquaform shower trays, these elements are available as a set. The aquaform series of shower trays includes a wide range of models. They include products adapted to various shapes of enclosures and the preferences of users regarding the height of the tray and the depth of the bowl.
