The Pump can be installed in four positions; Silent pump thanks to the flanges with special shock absorbers in order to avoid vibrations. Part # Description RRPPrice FW45 Condensate Pump $ Installation Overview : Gotec Condensate pumps This overview is provided as a general guide only and the specific installation instructions supplied with each pump should be referred to for your specific installation of a condensate pump. Sizing the correct pump - we recommend a safety margin of at least x2, based on the expected condensate flow. Where a remote detector unit ( such as used with the Tattoo / FW45 pump) is to be installed there are four very important installation points. The detector unit must be installed level on both planes, the detectors will operate with a +/- 5 degree to level tolerance, but we recommend taking the small extra amount of time and making sure they installed near as perfectly to level as you can. Do not install the Detector unit on any metal bracket or housing which may form part of the indoor unit construction, doing so will interfere with the detectors magnetic detector and may cause faulty operation. Some indoor units require a three month service and at this service be sure to check and clean the detector unit for any foreign material in the pipeline or detector unit. Foreign material in the pipeline is a common cause of faults with condensate pumps. The manufacturer strongly recommends each condensate pump and the pipe lines be cleaned and serviced each year, refer to the pumps installation instructions for specific servicing details. Not affected by particles, it can work in polluted environments. The support brackets allow installation into false ceilings or directly on a wall. As soon as there is a difference in temperature of 5 degrees celicius between the blue sensor installed near the evaporating coil and the red sensor installed on the ambient air side, the pump will run and evacuate condensates. When the difference is lower than 5 degrees celicius, the pump still functions for a further 3 minutes in order to evacuate the liquid that is in the condensate tray, then the pump stops. The peristaltic pump BASIC is very quiet and can run dry. Not very sensitive to particles, it can work in polluted environments. The provided support allows its installation in false ceilings or directly on a wall. The pump is self-priming to a height of 2 metres. The pump is operated by a cooling signal. When the cooling switches off, the pump still functions during 3 minutes in order to evacuate the liquid which is in the condensate tray, then the pump stops.
