5 IOA1 Current analog output VOA2 Voltage analog output 5.2 Analog inputs and outputs IIA1-IIA2-IIA3-IIA4: analog current inputs (0 to 20 ma) IOA1: analog current output (0 to 20 ma) VOA2: analog voltage output (0 to 10 Vdc) Screw terminals from 43 to 46 are available for active sensors. Screw terminal 49 is a supply output (+12VC) for passive current sensor. It is available between 47 and 50 screw terminals. It is available between 48 and 50 screw terminals. 5.3 Liquid level control inputs Use the analog level control from screw terminals 40, 41, 42 to control the level of liquid into a cistern. 6 Installation Standards For the best performance and long life never install the device near heat sources. We suggest installing the product at the bottom of the control panel. Installation and removal from IEC EN rail A= DIN rail support B= DIN rail support 1= S6001 2= Rail IEC EN Fasten with screw S6001 to the two supports (use the hole shown in the figure with arrows). Hook up the S6001 on rail. Panel Installation Drill four screw holes (diameter 5 mm Max), as shown in the figure. Secure the device using suitable fasteners. Be careful not to drop the device while fixing it, so as not to damage it. Electrical connections 5.1 Power supply Power supply must be connected to screw terminals 52 and 53. The supply voltage must be 24 ± 15 % VA/C (Any polarity). Upper limits must not be exceeded to avoid serious damage to the module. It is necessary to protect the power supply source against any failure of the module using an Max. 2.5 A fuse. MI E.DOCX ENGLISH 6/11

7 5.4 Alarm Output Use the supply voltage (12 VC Max. 50mA) from screw terminals 38 and 37 to connect for example an acoustic alarm. The screw terminal 39 must be not connected. 5.5 Digital Outputs The 8 relays SPDT has operating voltage A. 5.6 Digital Inputs 15 Digital Inputs are available from 1 to 18 screw terminals. 8 5.7 Ethernet and Display Ethernet communication port is available on the left side of S6001 from RJ45 connector. Ethernet communication can be used to connect a HMI display like the Seneca VISUAL 4, DCS or SCADA device. 5.8 RS232 RS232 with full handshaking signals is available from DB9 male connector in the left side of S6001. Use the cable (supplied on request) CS-DB9F-DB9F to connect the RS232 devices. The signals from DB9 are listed in the table below. This is an USB port with connector type A, this is suitable to connect, for example, a mass storage with maximum consumption of 300 5VC, like an USB pendrive.
