Fault indication The web server indicates bus device and web server faults via LED lit for as long as the fault is present.. The LED is System messages Connection test The web server generates system reports and periodically sends the system operating state to different recipients. Messages are sent as per the set time (hh:mm), message cycle interval ( days), and priority (urgent/non-urgent) to message recipients. When triggered via remote button, the web server sends a system report to all message recipients regardless of its own fault priority. Message history The message history includes the last 500 events on faults, fault messages, and system reports. The events are entered in the web server's circular message buffer. Message history data can be read via web browser. Time The web server has a system clock with adjustable daylight saving/standard time changeover. 3 Ordering and delivery Please indicate the type (ASN) when ordering. Components: The web server is delivered in a cardboard box. The installation instructions G5711 are inserted in the package. The commissioning instructions C5711 (de / en) are available on the web server at address>/doc/. Additional accessories: Power supply unit, Ethernet cable, USB cable, 2 cable ties. Equipment combinations LPB/BSB devices Notes An LPB or BSB device can be connected to the LPB/BSB interface of the central communications unit. The following devices with LPB or BSB connection are supported: Heating controllers RVA, RVS Boiler management units LMU Contact us for detailed compatibility list of LPB/BSB devices. SMS operation is not supported by all devices. Web browser PC/Laptop (1024 x 786) iphone (480 x 320) Internet Explorer V6.0 or higher Firefox V3.0 or higher Safari Number of browsers Any number of browsers can be used simultaneously. The max. data traffic on the line is divided up among the browsers. As a result, operation slows down depending on the number of simultaneous users. GSM (OZS164.23) SIM card GSM antenna Mobile phones allow for operation and monitoring via SMS. A standard SIM card can be used for the web server. A remote, suitable GSM band antenna with SMA plug (male) can be used in lieu of the delivered antenna, e.g. ANT-GXS6624 by Round Solutions. The LPB/BSB connection is used to connect the bus device. The USB interface directly connects the PC/laptop on site. The required USB cable type A / type Mini-B is delivered with the device. The router/network is connected to the Ethernet RJ45 plug. The Ethernet interface features Auto-MDI(X) for crossed and non-crossed Ethernet cables. A Ethernet cable category 5 is delivered. The bus device is connected to terminals DB/CL+ and MB/CL- designated "A " (see "Mechanical design"). Use HTTP (Port 80) via TCP / IP for web operation. A RNDIS driver on the PC is required for USB communication. The RNDIS driver is installed automatically when the PC is connected to the Internet. The driver is stored on the web server under address>/drivers/. Fault messages via use SMTP. Fault messages are sent as SMS via GSM (OZS only). The digital inputs D1, D2 help connect potential-free status contacts. They work as fault inputs. 4 / 12

5 Mechanical design Design The web server consists of the housing lower section with printed circuit boards and interfaces as well as connection terminals. The upper housing section contains the printed circuit boards. The upper housing section contains the LED displays and one operating button. The LEDs and operating button are labeled. A removable cover provides access to the terminal area. 6 Notes Mounting You can mount the web server in a panel, a distribution box, or on flat wall. Plan sufficient space around the unit for easy wiring. Make sure service can easily access the unit and the unit is ventilated properly. Vertical mounting (circulation via vent holes) is required at ambient temperatures greater than 35 C. We do not recommend plant monitoring via USB interface in environments with strong electromagnetic interference (e.g. in industrial environments with electrical welding equipment). See "Technical data" for electromagnetic compatibility. The delivered power supply unit supplies the required 24 VDC operating voltage for the web server. The terminals for the LPB/BSB bus as well as the digital inputs are located at the bottom of the device. The operating voltage plug 24 VDC as well as the plugs for USB, Ethernet, and GSM (OZS only) interfaces are located on top of the device. The terminals are designed for mm 2 solid wire cross-sections, or mm 2 stranded wire cross-sections. Commission the web server locally via USB interface using the PC or laptop. The PC/laptop must contain a suitable web browser (see "Equipment combinations"). You need a USB cable type A / type Mini-B to locally connect the USB interface of the web server to the PC laptop. See the installation instructions G5711 (attached) or commissioning instructions C5711 (saved on web server at address>/doc/ ) for more information. You need a suitable router for remote operation via Internet. The router must support NAT/PAT as well as DynDNS for dynamic IP addressing. The IP address via USB is canned: Default setting for IP address via Ethernet: Users must manually set the IP address as per their home network. 6 / 12

Maintenance The OZW164 web server is maintenance free (no battery changes, no fuses). Clean the housing only with a dry towel. Repair The OZS164 cannot be repaired on site. If faulty, return to the Repair Center of the relevant Regional Company. Disposal Dispose of the device as electronic waste in compliance with European directive 2002/96/EEC (WEEE) and not as municipal waste.
