The MailExpert platform was designed in such a way that ensures our customer s security is kept in mind and that their data is protected at all times. This is enabled by built-in security protocols that protect your data against hackers and other security risks. 3 How MailExpert Works What information MailExpert gathers and tracks MailExpert collects four types of information: 1. Personal Information (name, address and telephone number), financial (credit card details) or company information that you knowingly disclose when signing up to trial or purchase MailExpert. This kind of information is only obtained by your conscious, intentional consent. 2. Technologically obtained information which is collected using cookies or web logs to collect information about how MailExpert is being used by you. The information collected through tracking technologies include: search behaviour, site traffic, time on site, referring ad campaigns and information on drop off points of traffic. 3. Our software and operating systems are always up to date with the latest security patches and updates. Firewalls are used extensively to protect data by opening only the essential channels to the necessary entities on our servers. This means that if a PC or location does not need access to our servers for our system to function correctly, they will be unable to contact that server. This greatly reduces the chances of hackers being able to infiltrate our system. We use the newest Virus software to scan our servers in real time against any suspicious traffic or files. Virus definition updates occur numerous times per day. Security experts monitor and manage protocoles daily to ensure maximum protection. Protection from Loss of Data All our software runs on RAID hard drives to prevent downtime or data loss in the event of hardware failure.
