The candidates appearing in the Final Year Degree Examination are also eligible to apply. However, before completion of the admission procedure, the original marks cards of the qualifying examination shall have to be produced to show that the candidate fulfills the eligible criteria as laid down. 2. The candidates shall fill in the application form in all the four parts of the application form as well as the duplicate admission ticket with complete details correctly and legibly. 3. Application form and brochure are available for Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) or may be downloaded from website. While submitting the downloaded application a demand draft of Rs 2000/- in favour of Registrar, National Law University, Jodhpur must be enclosed. 4. The candidates shall send the filled in application form with the enclosures by registered post or speed post or courier service so as to reach the Registrar, National Law University, NH-65, Nagaur Road, Mandore, Jodhpur Rajasthan, on or before March 21, Applications received after the last date will be rejected. The envelope containing the application form must be super scribed as FOR P.G. ADMISSION (Insurance) Written Test for admission will be held at Jodhpur and / or Delhi on 7 th April Please note that the National Law University is a residential University and all the students selected shall have to compulsorily stay in the University Halls of Residence. The final admission list is likely to be announced on April 20, 2013 and selected students shall complete the admission formalities by the dates mention in the admission information brochure. 7. POST GRADUATE PROGRAMS IN INSURANCE The University offers Post Graduate Degree Programs in: Insurance {MBA (Insurance) (Four Semesters-2 Years)} Master of Science {(M.S.-Insurance) (Two Semesters- 1 year in Campus) Both the above-mentioned programs are full time and residential. ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLICATION Admission to MBA Insurance /Master of Science (MS) Insurance programme shall be based on merit in the entrance test. Following is the criteria to be eligible to appear in the entrance test: MBA (Insurance) Four Semesters 2 Years 60% marks in aggregate in Graduation/ Post-graduation. MS (Insurance) Two Semesters 1 Year 60% marks in aggregate in B.E./B.Tech. in any branch/specialization excluding Computer Science and Information Technology. A relaxation of 5% of marks in eligibility criteria shall be admissible to candidates belonging to SC and ST categories & Person with Disability. Candidates who have appeared/are appearing in the final year of qualifying examination may also apply. However, candidates not fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned above, at the time of finalization of admission, will not be entitled to admission. INTAKE MBA (Insurance) Upto 25 MS (Insurance) - Upto 15 RESERVATION 15% and 7.5% seats in both the courses individually shall be reserved for SC and ST candidates respectively. A relaxation of 5% of marks in the eligibility criteria will be admissible to candidates of those categories. 3% seats in each category are reserved for person with disability. PROCEDURE OF ADMISSION Admission is based on aggregate marks obtained in the Written Test which will be held at Jodhpur and / or Delhi.

7 TEST PATTERN The test is designed to measure the candidate s ability to think systematically, to employ the verbal and mathematical skills and to assess his/her aptitude for insurance career. The test shall be in two parts: A - Objective type 50 Marks Questions shall be of multiple choice, Out of the given multiple options, the candidate has to choose the correct answer. The Candidate shall not give more than one answer to any question. Such answers will be ignored while awarding marks. There will be no negative marking. Duration of Test: One Hour (60 Minutes) B Essay writing (200 words) 50 Marks Duration of Test: Thirty Minutes 30 Minutes Total Duration of Admission Test 90 Minutes PATTERN OF THE PAPER AND TENTATIVE QUESTIONS / MARKS: Section A Aptitude Test, Reasoning and General No. Questions and Marks (10) Knowledge Section B - Basic Arithmetic, Algebraic, Geometrical and No. Questions and Marks (10) Statistical Ability.
