ITINERARY : Day 1 : DEPART JAKARTA Overnight flight to Frankfurt. Day 2 : ARRIVE FRANKFURT (OFFENBACH) Welcome to Germany and the city of Frankfurt. After check-in, your Tour Director will take you on an afternoon orientation tour, which explores the dynamic financial center and medieval Römerplatz. 3 Day 3 : FRANKFURT (OFFENBACH) - RHINE CRUISE - COLOGNE This morning your day starts with a drive to St. Goar where you embark on a scenic Rhine cruise past medieval castles and terraced vineyards. Later experience a unique 'Be My Guest' luncheon in a Castle above the Rhine River. Rejoin your coach and continue via Bonn to Cologne where an orientation tour includes the Gothic Cathedral. Then enjoy free time before dinner. See the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden Boulevard, the Reichstag Building, German State Opera House, Tiergarten and the shopping and entertainment district of Kurfürstendamm. Your evening is at leisure to enjoy this vibrant city. Day 7 : BERLIN - BAYREUTH - WURZBURG This morning your journey takes you past Potsdam and across the River Elbe. Continue past Leipzig into western Germany and visit the town of Bayreuth, home of the Wagner Festival. Later in Würzburg your Tour Director will show you the Marienburg Fortress and the Prince-

Hotel: Maritim (SF) Day 8 : WURZBURG - MUNICH Enjoy a drive via the Romantic Road to the fairytale town of Rothenburg, with its gabled houses and wrought iron shop signs for a walking tour. Then into the heart of Bavaria and its regional capital, Munich, where an orientation includes the Olympic Stadium and City Hall with its Glockenspiel clock. Tonight why not discover some of Munich's lively beer halls. Hotel: Hilton Munich Park (SF) Day 9 : MUNICH - SALZBURG It's off to Salzburg this morning, where spires and domes are overlooked by the fortress of Hohensalzburg. On arrival, your expert guided walking tour explores the city that featured in 'The Sound of Music' and which is best known as Mozart's birthplace. See the family house in the picturesque Getreidegasse and admire the Domplatz, the Baroque square dominated by its Cathedral. Hotel: Austria Trend Europa (F) Day 10 : SALZBURG - DURNSTEIN - VIENNA (2 nights) Enjoy breathtaking scenery on your drive past Lake Mondsee to the UNESCO - designated Wachau Valley. Then from Melk Abbey sloping vineyards line the river to Dürnstein, where Richard the Lionheart was held prisoner and subsequently found by Blondel, his faithful minstrel. Day 12 : VIENNA - INNSBRUCK Travel via the Vienna Woods and the Salzkammergut en route to Innsbruck where your Tour Director shows you the Golden Roof and the Hofburg Palace. Continue on to view Neuschwanstein Mad King Ludwig's fairytale Castle. Later skirt around Western Europe's largest lake known as the Bodensee or Lake Constance. Travel into the green wooded hills of the Black Forest where cuckoo clocks were first invented for your overnight stay. Hotel: Hofgut Sternen (F) Day 14 : BLACK FOREST - HEIDELBERG - FRANKFURT (OFFENBACH) Your first stop this morning is at Heidelberg where there's time to visit the courtyard of the castle which dominates this university city of 'Student Prince' fame. From here drive through the Rhineland on your way back to Frankfurt. This evening join your Tour Director and your traveling companions for a Farewell Dinner.
